I assumed as much....

I would be more worried about Big Paul being out if Steven JAckson was playing....with Starks and Odrick I think the teams drops off very, very little.

Patterson is out, but Taylor and Davis are back and Carroll has been playing very solid football. I would love to see the Rookies get in there and mix it up...

I would love the see the coaching staff find a way to just have Will Davis play spy on the field and read Ryan's eye to go get the ball

It does not matter that Patterson is out because Julio Jones will carve up whoever covers him anyway. Solai being out disrupts the rotation but he may not be as needed as he is not a pass rushing option. Starks and Odrick may be better options this week anyway.

I really wanted to see Patterson against elite competition after he showed up like he did in Week 1.

Should be interesting to see if our pass rush is strong enough to cover the WRs for us, otherwise we will have lots of trouble defensively this week. Good luck to Kevin Coyle at containing Jones and White, especially without Patterson.

I think this will be a loss, but I think we could surprise the Falcons and win if the pass rush and offense really step up. Still, while any loss hurts, NFC matchups are the best games to drop.

Agreed. It's not a stretch to say we can win, but we won't.

Well we have a chance to be 3-0, this is one of the games I had us dropping this year, but Falcons are dinged up, if we can come out play mistake free ball, limit turn overs and come away with points when we are giving the opportunity and we can win this. Anyone know the last time we went 3-0 to start the season???

Falcons: 23
Phins: 24

Grimes: 1-INT
Tanney: 2-TD's (1- Wallace, 1- Hartline)
Wake: 3 Sacks
Miller: 68 yards on the ground, 24 yards in the air.

I think the fact that there are some who believe this team can beat Atlanta....including some of the national media speaks volumes about how much this team has improved from last season. In the end...Atlanta is still a very good team and Miami will have to play a clean game to win.

Don't worry guys. We could score a 100 in the first half and still lose. Just wait till the second half.
