Randy Moss will be able to explode in a straight line probably into his 50s. His issue now is he cannot to save his life.

Like I said, if I was not so confident Dobs will be pro bowl caliber by the end of the season, I would be pining hard core.

Serious question for you.

If Randy Moss in his prime is 100 and Troy Williamson is 0, where on the number scale will Dobson be by week 17 in your estimation.

100 would be unrealistic and NBT doesn't want to be overly optimistic, so...

99.

Laughing

Calvin would be an 80, Green an 85, by that measure.

Dobs would be a ~50.

Ooh this could be fun.

Ok, ok, where is Jerry Rice on this scale. My curiosity level is high

Johnson is pretty weak, only 5 TD's last year. Probably only worth a 60 or 65 if Streeter is an 85.

Oh come on now, I think his ratings were pretty fair when I asked. I knew when I said Randy in his prime I knew it registered as best ever in his mind so I was asking for a range from perfection to worst ever. If thats how we all look at it, 80 for Calvin and 85 for AJ is pretty fair.

^Truth. Streeter is like a 20 with 70 potential.

There's a reason Moss didn't finish his career with New England. And he did wonders for The 49ers when he went signed with them. Rolling Eyes

Don't get me started on T.O., the guy isn't what he used to be and even when he was brilliant he wasn't worth the trouble in the long run. At least Moss didn't tear any of his teams apart like Team Obliterator did.

Clearly still something left physically. Smith said he was the teams fastest guy outside of Teddy Ginn. Moss just isn't good enough to beat the ways defenses play him any more. If they would just single him man to man, he would still be a very effective player. Def. seemed to have some focus drops last season too.
