Coach Smith just announced it. Really, really tough break for us.

Ewing seems to be a waste of a draft pick. That is very unfortunate. This team has depth issues. I suppose a lot of teams do as well but when you are in "Superbowl of Bust" mode you have to have adequate depth. Do we bring in another FB?

It also is time for these young DE's to step it up. If you are going to tell me that the loss of Kroy (who I think is a very good player for what he was projected to be) is going to cost you the season then you shouldnt even suit up on gameday. His production should be easily replaced by these young guys. If not then our scouting department needs a serious overhaul.

Biermann being lost for the year is a huge blow. Why can't the NFL go into settings and turn injuries off? Smh.

(that's a string of expletives about losing kroy)

On the other side, time for Massaquoi and Bartu to step up.

It's always worse when key injuries come in the beginning of the year. Last year with Grimes too.

I say we sign Mike Cox again, or let Patrick DiMarco take the reins at FB. We need another pass rusher, Mark Anderson anyone?

I actually like DiMarco. Hope he gets a shot.

Such a shame, Ewing was starting to show promise before he got hurt.

Biermann.... man that is tough. He is such an essential cog of our defense, losing him is a huge blow.

Luckily, as smitty said, we do have the personnel in place to fill in with the new guys (Bartu at LB, goodman/massaquoi at left end) so hopefully they'll all keep improving and we wont miss a beat.

Curious how Nolan adapts to this news, Kroy really was an important piece for his scheme.

Player safety is working like a charm Goodell. Rolling Eyes More people injured this year than I can count. Worrying about how youre going to tackle someone only makes things worse. LET THE GUYS PLAY FOOTBALL. And squash that kicking off from the 35 yardline nonsense. Taking away one of the most exciting plays in the game for crying out loud. And for what? Less injuries? Please.

Good god. The dude was a late fifth round pick and is in his second year.

There were several fifth round picks who didn't make their own teams roster. Ewing has shown talent, just seems to be injury probe. That hardly means a waste of a pick.

And since when has fullback depth ever kept any team from the SB? This loss hurts, but we'll replace him and it won't hurt us. It's no big deal.

Exactly. Ragging on TD seems to be the cool thing to do.
