Things like these happen all the time. It's not necessarily a good thing or a bad one. Everyone and there mother knows that Suh is a manic with intense anger issues. That is undebatable and you'll lose that debate 99 times out of 100. But who cares? Jordan use to get into fist fights all the time with his teammates. He punched numerous guys.

Kevin Garnnet use to do the same thing in MN. I read a long article about him when we traded for him. We all want to paint our heroes or athletes as Super nice heroes. Truth be told there are good people who can do bad and there are bad people that can do good. Who cares what Suh is labeled on the field. As long as he's doing his job should suffice. He owes no one anything and he isn't suppose to act like a nice guy. The man has donated equipment to Nebreska and has done charitable work for Det, So it's obvious his heart is in the right place. We get caught up with the notion that every great athlete should be a white knight, But truth be told they are humans and they have some Inner demons just like everyone else.

Even the Bad Boy pistons would duke it out.. Times have changed so much from the 80's and 90's.

Everyone knows he has anger issues? Because he makes aggressive hits? Everyone ASSUMES he has anger issues.

It is CLEAR he has questionable decision making skills but that is all

Spot on right.

I found the twitter girls crying over the clip last week hilarious- saying he's intentionally trying to end people's careers and there are dozens of cases of it. Laughing

Call it something original too Confused

There really should be no responses anymore to Suh related issues. We should just all simply reply with + Rolling Eyes Seriously this has got to be one of the more out there statements made by a fairly credible person. But I guess tabloids sell better than anything actually newsworthy.

WTF kind of crap is this. Seriously? Jay Glazer is a buffoon, like Schwartz said, that actually makes since. Wouldn't one of the local beat writers report something like this before a guy who has never even been into a Lions practice?

Just some dude jacking his jaws cause that's what he's paid to do.

Everyone knows that? Rolling Eyes

Some things said in these forums make me shake my head. This is especially true for armchair psychiatrists who haven't even met the man.

Glad to see he is a manic according to the pros and not a maniac at least.

I would say anger is certainly a possible issue with him, but overly I certainly can't see any conclusive evidence to said issue. Only one time can I think of that I would probably attribute his outburst to anger, but I think we would be neglectful not to point out most everyone has had such an outburst, especially players in such a violent sport as football.

I think I could pretty conclusively say that he has serious decision making issues. Much like many his age, but he does seem to have his at a much more accelerated pace than the average kid.

I also question his decision making but his poor judgement, to me, doesn't seem anger related. The football stuff is aggressive which is what's expected, the exception being the stomp.

Suh could have any number of issues I just done think there is sufficient evidence to suggest a diagnosis based on available information.

The only thing we know for sure is he likes Ice Cream

AND QUARTERBACKS

BUT on a more serious note. The OTHER side of Suh

According to The Giving Back Fund, Suh donated $2.6 million to various charities in 2010.

The dude seriously steps off the field and is all about helping kids in need. Does he make mistakes? Um yea. Duh. Does he do more compared to most NFL athletes off the field? Yes no doubt.

Hate him all you want on the field. He is not dirty. He is nasty. He plays with a mean streak. Stuff he does (outside the stomp which was his ONLY dirty play) simply were amazing displays of strength and power just a few short years ago.

One aspect of all the on field controversy that drives me nuts is the number of cheap shots Suh has had to put up with.

While not that bad, if Suh did this the outcry would be deafening.

People forget in the infamous stomp game Green Bay linemen were doing things in the pile.

Zero? No one will even mention it let alone bother to look up who it actually was. I know I wouldn't be able to name the Cards RG.

see i dont have a problem if the NFL wants to try and make stuff safer by taking what suh did out of the game. But if they are going to do it enforce it for everyone, if the refs dont see it and flag it, it should still draw a fine, even if its a 5k slap on the wrist, just so the player knows hey we saw that dont do it again

I agree, I just don't think it has a shot of happening.

Oh my, If Suh did that, there would be an outcry for a 6 game suspension, at least that's what Esiason on CBS wants. Laughing

Seriously though, I'm not sure there's going to be a fine because Suh avoided contact, but this clearly was an attempt to knock Suh out. If the NFL doesn't do or say something about it, than they're basically saying it's ok for guys to take shots at Suh because of his past. That would be extremely unfortunate.
