I am sure if you flipped things around the 49'ers like so many other teams could of had DeSean Jackson one draft and Lesean Greatness McCoy another draft.

Andy had his head up his huge big fat yeaaah... and he was doing nothing to maximize this teams ability to bring us to a championship or instill any sorta of winning work ethic or culture. Who knows what would of happened if he could of bought another year, but it would of been the same old story just told a different way.

I believe big time on Howie Roseman, he to me is a GM on the verge of blooming into something really great, hes a young sharp savvy mind with the willigness to take chances on the new. I am looking forward to the future, over trying to wrap my head around the dog chasing his own tale in Andy Reid and all the chaos and non sense he brought year in and year out with stupid decisions over the last 5-7 years. over it.

more Howie!

At this point, taking Curry and not Wilson makes no sense if we had actually "built our draft around him" so that is all BS. In the end, who cares. They aren't on our team so lets look at guys who potentially could be. I hate Kaep btw.

Anyone that had a hand in drafting Danny Watkins in the 1st round will never have what it takes to construct a Super Bowl winning roster without SERIOUS help in making decisions. Let's hope that Chip can make Howie look good...

Danny Watkins was drafted in the 1st round, Kolb in the 2nd, Trevor Laws in the 2nd, Jarrett was drafted in the 2nd, and Reid traded up to draft Brandon Graham in the 1st, which shows that the Reid regime would go after whoever they felt strongly about. Obviously the Eagles didn't feel THAT strongly about Wilson.

Who cares? It's easy to play revisionist history when the drafts concerned. In the end none if it matters. If you're going to waste time wondering with the "what if", do it on a draft that would of won us 3-4 SB like the 01' draft. You guys worry about the Wilsons and Kaep. I'd much rather they had been smart enough to take Reggie Wayne and Steve Smith then Freddy "worthless" Mitchell and Quintin Carver.

Eagles and Kaepernick are better off that it didn't happen

The offense that Kaepernick is in now is PERFECT for his skills.

Also Eagles wouldn't have landed Chip Kelly. And I know he's just at .500 but when Chip Kelly actually gets more than one playmaker at receiver (Maclin injury hurts) and he actually gets a defense, this guy is going to be an ELITE coach. With our without Vick I think you guys win a Super Bowl with Chip Kelly.

Can't you say that about any team?

For example, if we had a solid offensive line and a defense not ran by the DL coach the last couple of years, we would have been successful.

I have faith in Tom Gamble.

In a year or two when Rex is let go, and if our defense hasn't gotten better, maybe the Eagles will think about firing Billy Davis and hiring Rex Ryan as our defensive coordinator since they seem to be somewhat close.

But this is looking very far into the future and of Billy Davis doesn't pan out. Billy still deserves a lot of time.

I agree with Roll. That's why we brought in Tom Gamble and others. We should have the brains to form a strong team. We just need to let it happen and cross our fingers, no matter how good you are you still HAVE to get lucky.

You really need to give Davis three years to get the players into his system and teach it. If after three years they still aren't doing it, then move on.

3yrs?? Are you kidding I'm thinking 3 weeks. NO had 43 personnel and practically the worse DEF EVER last yr. They've played 10x better Def in the first two weeks. The fact dorkface was able to practically read the D and adjust to the proper play almost every time is laughable. I don't think we made them punt until late 2nd half.

Not every team is the same, some transitions are quick like NO and Houston, some not so much.
