Just skimmed through the list of teams. Don't see a team that would even want Freeman. Maybe the Vikings?

Call me crazy, but I think they ride it out with a guy who played well to get them into a playoff birth down the stretch. Freeman isn';t a long term upgrade if they have to do that next year.

What teams out there are in need of a starting QB, and would rather not suck for Teddy?

i was thinking Cleveland or Oakland. Olsen might vouge for him if he's on the block. Cleveland actually has a good team in place and may feel Freeman can help them out. Chudzinski may want to use Free the same way he uses cam.

I know most around here aren't fans of Mark but I expect him to be able to get the most possible out of this trade.

I would be happy with anything to be honest. I'm sick of Freeman.

Although didn't he get a 6th for Luke McCown? I think we could do ok. I could see sending him to Cleveland.

Essentually he wouldbbe admitting failure in hisb first two drafts. After getting ridbof Freeman he would only have two players on the roster from a total of 15 draft picks (including the Winslow trade) which for a gm who origonally wanted to build through the draft to look foolish

Remember when I said we should trade for Alex Smith and I pretty much got bashed on because he didn't have Josh Freeman's arm strength?

The article is pretty much conjecture and filling in the blanks. I can't see him being traded in season. A sign and trade at the year end is more likely if anything.

The Browns could use them. They just need a guy that can get them 1TD a game, and he could probably manage that.

If Olson really wants him, I wouldn't mind us taking Pryor off of their hands. Hell, I'd even take Matt Flynn.

This is a divorce that needs to happen for both sides, I believe it is inevitable now. The coaching staff is treating him like a rookie, so might as well get the rookie in there.

I bet no one is laughing at the thought of getting Alex Smith now when I suggested it in the offseason.

He still wouldn't have been a good fit for this offense. He would have definitely been better than Freeman, but long-term for the asking price wasn't worth it.
