Hey I haven't heard much from Britt in a while I know he had some injury issues but I always liked him. I'm sure everyone saw the stone hands the Jets receivers had Thursday night and I was wondering if Britt could be on the trade block? His contract is up at the end of the year, will you guys resign him or let him walk?

What do you guys think of him as fans in general?

Oh dear lord I clicked on this thread expecting it to be some news about him getting arrested. Laughing

Anyway, really talented guy who can't seem to get his head out of his rear and in to the game. Unless he has a very good season, Britt is walking at the end of this year.

In regards to him being on the trade block, no, he's not.

It would be a mistake bringing Kenny Britt in the vicinity of New Jersey.

Yea that's how some of the Jets fans have felt as well. I liked him in college but we don't need a head case here haha. I figured I'd do some research on some potential troubled WRs that could be on the block. Thanks for your responses!

FYI - Here's a little something for the Britt Chronicles. The time is long overdue for him to either put out or get out.

I hope they bench him the rest of the year. We don't need his trash.

Just add him to the long list of wide receiver disappointments. We've given him chance after chance to grow the hell up and he still hasn't. He gets lazy when he's not a part of the gameplan. It's a shame about the knee injury, but he's not the same player that flashed in early 2011. I'm ready to move on with Wright, Hunter and Washington.

He will claim his account was hacked. Rolling Eyes

Sit him the rest of the year. You cannot trust him. Play Preston, Hunter, Wright, Williams & Washington. I would not let him see the field again unless there is a injury.

Yeah, you could tell just by watching them play that Britt wasn't even giving half the effort that Wright and Washington were. And hell, Washington is the guy that had all the rumors about getting traded and etc, but he's still out there giving it 100%.

Just let Britt go and resign Washington/continue to develop Hunter. Should be good enough.

He's tweeted multiple times after that tweet and even gave away some gloves right now.

It was him, and he's an idiot. Munchak needs to show him that we don't need him. Bench his arse and laugh at him when he tries to apologize.

Difference is that Washington is a pro and Britt is not. It's that simple.

Can we just sign Hakeem Nicks this offseason?

Seriously. I'm so over drafting WR's. Throw money at the one's we already know are good. I don't want to waste another draft pick.

Done with him anyway. He's fell off big time and doesn't give it his all. Hunter and Preston need to play more.
