Well, it is 9 players which comprise 17% of that roster...

Incognito 5.3
Clabo 3.5
Pouncey 2.5

Spending 13 to 14% of the funds on 17% of the roster is fine. Especially if these guys start to gel.
Looks like we are spending in the trenches. When you think of the amount of DBs on the team that percentage doesn't seem so bad. I can't complain about this at all.

I agree. I don't see anything wrong with this type of distribution.

BUT WE SPENT SO MUCH MONEY ON TWO OVERRATED WRS AND 3 CRAPPY LBERS

This is interesting, no doubt about it, but truth be told, I could care less how we spend/distribute the cap funds. I just want a playoff winning team.

More telling is how it might change. We drafted a pair of CB's. I would think at least of the DT's is gone. The QB % will change in the future.

Would you mind spending as much on the OL as the DL if it was equal in performance?

It will change dramatically next season....Wallace and Hartline both get big bumps in pay. I'm going to assume only one of the high priced DT will remain with the team....Incognito could be resigned or let go (it will depend on his asking price....

In the end....these will always look different from one season to the next.

Oh dont worry that will change once Tanney becomes a free agent. Especially if he continues to progress.

I think that is why Wallace takes his biggest pay next season....the Phins should have the money to resign him if he continues to develop

I definitely see the vision in Ireland's plan.
