I am not disagreeing, because i too am a believer in the spread, but there is something to be said for under center run and play action. If you can be successful at it EARLY, it can really wear a team down physically and emotionally.

You can go under center while running no huddle.

Really? I thought it was illegal.

Nah. Colts always used to do it with Manning.

I was being sarcastic. I was saying that there is something to be said for conventional 21 personel TOP run/play-action that demoralizes a defense and messes with their minds. Also running no huddle hurry up with 21 personel is incredibly uncommon.

Again, Im not disagreeing at all just pointing out both sides. The downside to the hurry up is when it doesnt work and you only take 15 seconds or so off the game clock and your defense gets zero rest, it looks great when you get in a rhythm and it works but when it doesnt it can really backfire.

We really need a legitimate FS in my opinion. If we could get a guy like Clinton-Dix, it would really improve our secondary. These soft coverages from the corners are really holding back our defense at this point. Just my opinion so far this season though.

The no huddle has been far more effective than the slow TOP offense. That way just doesnt suit our offense anymore and you can tell.

Did anybody else think that offsides on Chris Long on the first drive was BS? Which lead to a Falcons score.

And our first kick return, Cunningham should've taken a knee and got field position at the 20. Instead brings it out and we get penalized get the ball inside our own 10, plus Matt Daniels gets injured.

There were several bogus calls from the refs on us. Like you said with that false start, the Wells holding play, and there was at least another. I'll see when I watch it again.

what is up with Rodger Saffolds injury? Was on crutches in locker room when the team was leaving. My worst fear is that ACL has been torn. Jeez. Guess we will know tomorrow. Doesn't look good though for us.
