Maybe him starting to feel more confident will loosen him up a bit. Before this stretch he looked unsure of himself at times. Hopefully this will be the boost he needed

c/o 'PfT'

Andy Dalton named AFC offensive player of month

" Andy Dalton has one game left tonight, but so far, hes been perfect in October so far.

The Bengals quarterback was named AFC offensive player of the month, after leading his team to a perfect 4-0 record, with a 116.8 passer rating in those games.

Hes thrown for 1,246 yards, 11 touchdowns and just three interceptions over that span, leading to wins over the Patriots, Bills, Lions and Jets "

Just reporting the facts folks.........

Why do they name player of the month before the month is over?

A kind of weird/cool fact about our schedule:

We play five games in October
We play two games in November

Bizarre but true. Odds are it never happens again. It can't happen to any team for five more years, if I am doing the quick math in my head correctly.

Anyone any idea how someone can be decribed as having a 'perfect' October, but threw 3 INT's ?

Sure, but you know what I'm saying. Max QBR is 158.3 (?), scoring 116.8 is not therefore 'perfect'..........
