I think our luck runs out this week.

20-17 Bucs

It really comes down, like every previous week, to the turnovers and who capitalizes.

This game comes down to who sucks more. Josh Freeman or our WR's. Unfortunately, the gap in talent between those two is made up for with the difference in quality between the two Defenses.

IMO

Which QB can take care of the ball better:
Tom Brady > Josh Freeman

Which RB can take care of the ball better:
Stevan Ridley < Doug Martin

Which defense can turn the ball over more:
Patriots = Bucs

Because they've already had a full off-season under their belts, why would a week suddenly make all the difference? I do hope you're right and I am wrong by the way - it's just that making that jump against a good passing defense is a very tough ask. Either way, we're in uncharted territory when it comes to guys who aren't running the right routes to ones that suddenly 'get it'. Those players in the past just haven't got on the field.
They've been able to practice together, but this is their first time with film against a game-planning opponent. It's not a magical solution, but a great way to fix things is to be able watch things when they do go wrong.

Exactly this.

As I said in my post, actual regular season tape is WILDLY better to study. Not only of an opponent, but of yourself. Over the past 10 days KT and Dobson have probably watched every play they were targeted on or even some they werent 100 times over.

Ah man, you guys have convinced me. Brady is gonna trust these guys after a week of film study and they're going to be great against Revis and company.

NFL Network officially said Gronk is out, but he will play next week.

^
They said it's unlikely that he will play, also they can't say anything "officially", the team announces the inactives list 90 minutes before the game starts and Gronk wasn't announced as inactive prior to today.

Anyway:

earlier @RapSheet reported Gronk unlikely to play - but that it's his arm (still!) that's delaying his return, not his back

Carl Nicks is active.

Why did we re-sign Washington again?

I thought it was wrong too.

At least Sciz "stealing" it back makes sense... it's Bucs week.
