Week Three 'o th' a pair-thousand thirteen National knife throwin' League season:
th' Tampa Bay Buck an Ears vs th' New England Patriots

'tis comin' Sunday, th' Tampa Bay Buccaneers gunna travel to New England to fight th' Patriots. 'o course, we all be knowin' how wee 'o a chance them band 'o pirates have. I mean, what would ye expect wit' 'tis as their mascot?

th' Patriots have be far from perfect th' first a pair weeks 'tis season, but do not fear! them band 'o pirates be in shambles as well, 'n in more ways than ye expect. Quarterback Joshy-boy Freeman has gone from cap'n 'o th' ship to bein' pushed below th' plank, 'n he'll need a strong battle to ensure that he isn't replaced wit' th' Buccaneers' QB 'o th' future, Marauder Mike Glennon. But that's not all. To make matters worse, Freeman's tragically lost his left hand in a sword-fightin' accident 'tis week. Luckily, he's right handed. He'll be able to throw just fine, but thar may be a few extra delays in th' battle to replace punctured balls, 'n Chandler Jones may set th' NFL record fer forced fumbles.

On th' other side 'o th' cannon ball be a familiar face, Darrelle Revis. th' Patriots' receivers gunna look to find treasure on Revis Island, but don't get ye hopes up. He looks to be extra well recovered from his torn ACL, 'n despite th' loss 'o his eye, he gunna continue to "spy wit' ye eye" receivers like he always has, by illegally holdin' onto their jerseys.

'n finally, th' dangerous Dashon Goldson. Unfortunately fer th' Pats' players, Goldson knows that X marks th' spot, 'n all 'o them X's be on receivers' helmets. Goldson hits like a cannonball, 'n given his peg pegleg, his hittin' be 'bout all he has left.

So, Patriots fans, be ye ready to send these scurvy pirate wannabees to Davy Jones' locker? We all be knowin' th' answer be a resoundin' "aye."

I'm just taking back what is rightfully mine! Not letting NBT get away with his pirate antics.

A) It was Sciz's turn that NBT stole from him.

B) If we win by a blow out, you should thank us both.

C) If we lose you should only blame Sciz because he's the one who created it.

As far as the OP... something about Josh Freeman missing the Buccaneers team photoshot because he overslept.

Well darn. No pics on the Internet of Jennifer Lawrence dressed as a pirate. Guess she's not allowed in this thread!

I don't see the connection but I'm sure you can find a JLaw gif that fits to any occasion.

This is a pirate-themed thread. Anything pirate is allowed, no matter who it is.

Alright, I take that comment back.

Anyway...
Which is higher, number of Josh Freeman picks or number of catches allowed by Revis?

We don't have a single receiver that can beat Revis at his best. It'd be really nice to have Gronk back.

So after that horror show that was supposed to be the Pats passing offense, do you think the Bucs take a chance and put Revis on Edelman, or keep him outside to shut down one of the two rookies?

I mean, they can't be TOO worried about Thompkins and especially Dobson right now. Edelman was by far the best receiver and go to guy.

Not really good with schemes and all that, so just wondering.

I would say catches allowed by Revis.
