Drew Bledsoe aswell.

Tedy Bruschi, Willie McGinest and Rodney Harrison are all first-year eligibles.

Kraft will definitely make it at some point. No chance for any of the others.

Only Rodney has a realistic shot here.

? Kraft is a slam dunk. 6 Super Bowl appearances and a highly regarded and influential owner. It's just a matter of time.

Harrison has no chance. The HOF doesn't admit many safeties and he wasn't a generational or iconic (league wide) player. Very good player with some elite years but I don't view him as HOF worthy even if the HOF wasn't stupid about their admissions.

Bruschi has no shot? I would say out of the bunch Kraft and Bruschi get in.

There are some "special" notes about some of those guys that aren't mentioned... like Bruschi been the only player in NFL history to return 4 INTs in a row for TDs. He was also on 5 different Superbowl teams.

Or that McGinest is the all time leader in post-season sacks and also holds the record for most sacks in a single playoff game.

Harrison forced 8 turnovers in his first 6 playoff games with the Patriots and had 7 tackles, a sack, two INTs and was the guy who held L.J. Smith up to cause him to fumble in Superbowl 39.

In the Pro Football HOF? Bruschi has absolutely no chance and doesn't deserve it.

He was a great Patriot but nowhere near a HOF player.

I think Harrison is going to make it eventually. Kraft also was instrumental in ending the lockout, so I think that's another feather in his cap.

As much as I love Willie Mac and Bruschi, they don't touch the Hall.

Rodney won't get in first ballot, but somewhere in the next 5-7 years, I could see him getting in.

Kraft should be a first balloter, very worst a second balloter. Dude built a dynasty and was a key factor in breaking the lockout.

Bledsoe completed like...57 percent of his passes...he'll get into the Hall, maybe on half-off day.

There are only 7 full time safeties in the HOF (ie not guys who played CB parts of their career). None inducted since 1988 and I don't think one had been a finalist in 10-15 years. Harrison also had guys like Dawkins, Atwater, Lynch and (soon) Reed to compete with.

Barring some unforeseen change in HOF voting habits, he has little chance of making it.

Reed will get in but the other guys probably won't.

What about Polamalu? Do you think he gets in?

No doubt he gets in.

I'm not so sure. He doesn't deserve to get in if Lynch and Atwater don't. I'd also put Dawkins above him in terms of overall body of work though Polamalu has rings and a few elite seasons.

If he stays healthy and productive (and IMO he hasn't been near a HOF level of play recently) and wins another Super Bowl he will definitely get in. If his career ended today, I'd say no.

He's a better safety than a number of the WR's (and others) in the HOF but safety is such a hard position to get in from and it's hard to justify him over the already retired guys.

I hope Harrison gets in it eventually. Right now he doesn't have a great chance but hopefully S start getting in especially Atwater.
