If that is the case, he needs to be off this roster.

My patience with him has run out.

We need that spot to be occupied by someone who is actually contributing.

If he goes on IR, I'd bring back Minnefield. Secondary needs some help.

And I'd much rather see Gumbs or Doughty playing the SS spot, Biggers is terrible. Not sure why someone like Murphy isn't getting the chances to fill that role.

I think that might be the end of his career. His contract voids after this year, and I cannot see the Redskins re-signing a guy who has given them one complete game in two years.

Sounds about right. I just don't see how he came away from that second hit without a concussion.

Losing Philip Thomas for the year really sucks now....He wouldnt have made our secondary any better, but he would have got a ton of experience going into next year!!! Tenard Jackson is sounding better and better if he can get reinstated!!!

you're speaking my language.

I never want to see Biggers at safety again.

I also wondered why they didn't try Murphy at safety, he's got safety size. 6'0, 200 lbs

If they are not going to play Gumbs, why did they cut Gomes? Biggers is terrible at Safety!!!

Gomes was cut because they liked Gumbs' upside over Gomes who hasn't progressed over the past three years.

They don't play Gumbs, because he's 3rd on the depth chart at SS behind Meriweather and Doughty. He's lucky he made the team and I believe will be cut when Jenkins and Jackson come back.

They played Biggers at safety week 1 because they believed (wrongfully so) that the front 7 could handle the run on their own with little support from the secondary and that they needed more help in coverage- they were wrong!

Meriweather is a good safety, it just has to be drilled into him that he can not lead with his helmet. The problem we have is that- surprisingly- despite all the fines and I believe even a suspension in 2009 or 2010 he hasnt learned his lesson.

Hopefully, Raheem Morris and Haz can get it in his head that he needs to quit striking the head or he may never wake up next time. The reason we don't cut him is that he's still our best safety and we can't afford to cut our best safety.

Almost makes you wish we'd give Madieu Williams a call doesn't it?

Yeah, almost, but not quite... Haha Laughing
