Matchups to Watch

1. Pass Rush vs Eli

Eli is a QB that can destroy any defense or collapse under pressure and give the game away. I thought we did a decent job with pressure against the Ravens but it'll need to be better against a better QB.

2. Cruz/Nicks vs DRC/Harris/Carter

Cruz is just a beast and Nicks is one of the better WRs in the league when healthy. Champ doesn't look likely to play as of today so our trio of corners will need to hold down the fort.

3. Broncos OL vs Giants DL

Giants have always had an elite DL, that line has aged a bit but still have a ton of talent. Tuck is a good player and we cannot leave Orange Julius on him 1v1. The real question is JPP, when he plays he is an elite edge setter and sack specialist. It is a big IF that he plays Sunday though.

This is a game we should win, we win most of the matchups across the board we just need to contain Cruz/Nicks. This is also the game that we could lose with Von suspended. Giants have a habit of playing awful football then playing like the best team in the league. Which will we see Sunday?

Sorry 07 I'm a little lost on JPP is he actually injured, or do you mean will he show up and play at a high level? Because I didn't see or read about him being injured.

Might as well add Reuben Randle to the WR mix now. Eli threw to him quite a lot on Sunday, seems to be replacing the void of Mario Manningham leaving after the 2011 season.

Doesnt matter who is catching the ball though. If this defense cannot create a pass rush, its going to be a shootout.

He's not injured but coming off of back surgery.

Randle looked good too.

Hopefully the Giants will have a few terrible turnovers again.

Over/under 6 TD's for Peyton?Very Happy .. I have a feeling this one becomes a shootout tho. Broncos win with the superior offense. This will be one were we really miss Miller, more so than usual.

Willis McGahee tried out for the Giants but the team signed Brandon Jacobs.

I personally think Nicks is overrated. I think he's good, but definitely not great, and definitely not a person who should hold out over money.

Cruz is indeed a beast, but so is Chris Harris. This will be an extremely fun matchup to watch. I think they will get the best of each other at different times and we won't see a clear winner of this battle.

I'm with the people who think this will be a shootout. Whoever wins the turnover battle will win this game. Keep Hillman away from the ball IMO.

Here's hoping the Broncos defense feels the same way Very Happy

Should be a heckuva shoot-out. I think whichever team can generate more of a pass-rush will win the game. Giants didn't have much of one last week so hopefully they can re-group.

I think the perception of Nicks being overrated is due to the fact he gets injured and sometimes doesn't perform at his best because he is playing injured. I think he is a great WR just has an injury bug history.

I could see Cruz get a touchdown or two. I hope not but Eli to Cruz in the redzone is a real good connection. I could see Harris grabbing an INT though!

Randle might do us some harm, he seems to be a good target for Eli. I hope it isn't a shootout but like everyone has said, it might be. I think Duke might be exposed a bit this Sunday, hopefully Rahim can deliver a few blows.

Can Peyton Manning throw a mile in a season? 5280/16 = 330 yards per game. He got 462 against the Ravens. The Giants didn't yield a pass play longer than 23 yards against the Cowboys.
