I actually liked the PI Buster got called for. Miami got the match up they wanted for their 6'6 TE against him.

You like everything he does.

im sorry it was a smart move. if you are going to get beat for a TD, PI it. Dont allow it to happen. So what happens, they get placed at the one and have to try again. There is a chance they dont score a touchdown.

Best move would have been to not get beaten

not get beat? It was a 6'5-6'6 TE and Tannehill threw up a perfect jump ball because of the mismatch. How do you expect a 5'9 DB to not get beat in that situation. Its not like he was running a long route. They were on the 4yard line and the TE was running a long pot pass. The only move Skrine had to not give up a TD was to PI

I feel oddly confident about this game. Like, Weeden may have another week 2 turnaround like he did last year.

I think we win it. I predicted we'd sweep the Ravens so how can I not think that?

I certainly was expecting better from our passing game than what they showed, so I have lost some confidence. The interceptions last game weren't completely on Weeden, but of his three worst throws on the day, none were the intercepted balls. He needs to clean up his game a little and the supporting cast needs to do the same so he isn't in a position wehere he feels he has to make plays to get us back in the game/win the game.

When the Ravens run the ball effectively, they still give up on it and get pass happy. There is a chance we slow down their run game so it will probably be a Flacco throwing the ball 40 times kind of day. We will need consistent pressure on him all game, just to keep him off balance. When a ball hits a defender in the hands he needs to make the catch, that will be big.

The Ravens run defense won't be as stout as in recent years, and I think we may be able to effectively run the ball which will in turn help the passing game. The Ravens had a lot of tackling/position issues in the 1st game, we need to try to exploit that as often as possible.

I think the Ravens score 24 points, probably a couple of big offensive passing plays. I think we need to score points early, like 17 by halftime.

My official prediction:

Browns 30
Ravens 24

Richardson gets 100 and around 4 YPC with a TD. Catches a handful more more another 60 yards and a TD.
Weeden completes 17 of 26 passes for 185 yards with 2 TD and 1 INT.

Rice gets 13 carries for 41 yards.
Flacco throws for 367 yards with 2 TD and 2 INT.

He is on "injured reserve/designated to return". He can't return until week 9 at the earliest.

He didn't get beaten for a TD. So that's a win.

If Brandon Weeden isn't the answer to our woes at QB, I know who is, and he isn't on our roster.

Ak just sayin'.

We need Haden to shut down Torrey Smith. Baltimores #2 and #3 WRs are nowhere near as good as Gibson and Hartline were. I don't even know who the Ravens have at TE either.

I think two big things need to happen Sunday if we want to come out on top. 1st being stopping ray rice. Are run d looked great last week so I'm hoping we keep it up this game. I would add Torrey smith in there also but Haden will be on him so i have no worries there. 2nd would be to establish the running game. Only 13 carries last week for a former 3rd overall pick ??? Come on Norv give T-rich the damn ball and let him take over the game. I really wish Gordon was back he'd at least make them worry about the deep ball.

its not so much carries but just overall touches. He was barely used in the passing game either. Get TRich open inthe flat matched up with a LB or DB

No stupid turnovers by Weeden

Utilitze Trent properly

Those two things need to happen in order for us to have a chance at the end of the game.

Like Candy said, i'm not worried about their passing game. Rice is always a worry but let's hope our run defense and their showing last week wasn't a mirage.

We need him involved in the passing game just so he is not blocking. His week 1 blocking performance was Marecic-esc

Skip the teen-twilight garbage. The potter stuff is fun, and not just for kids. Star Wars is simply very very good, but not everything likes the same stuff...

I watched Easy Rider last night a for the first time in about 10 years.... I forgot how much a hated the ending.
