I just saw the gash in full. Holy crap. Yeah, that definitely needed 15 stitches.

Maybe I've had lazy doctors, but 15 stitches is overkill. They must have made a zipper with all that thread.

It's split at least 1/4-inch wide and a good 3 inches long. There's a lot of pulling together that it needed.

Not to mention, it's in a high mobility area. The hand moves in lots of different directions. Gotta stitch it up nice so it doesn't all rip apart every time he flexes a finger.

Is that Bone I see? From what I understand they weren't even able too close it because there was skin that was torn out of the middle. That's why they wont let him practice, part of that wound is open if he gets sweat or dirt in there he could get a nasty infection.... not good.
