It's all good, I don't think many people know everything is one the first page. Maybe I should change the thread title after I update it?

Honestly, all our CBs have played well and have good looking stats. Surprisingly, Brown probably has the worse but he hasn't been bad at all.

Since the Texans GDT hasn't been posted yet, I'll just post the updates here for now.

Willis is questionable but everyone believes there is a good chance he plays.

Brock will be the 3rd CB this game, and I think it could be a permanent move if he performs well.

So the secondary through five games:

5 TDs, 6 INTs, opposing team's QB rating 67.6.

TERRIBLE though Wink .

Even Carlos Rogers getting in on the shut down action; I like it.

So with so many of our CBs free agents or probable cut candidates, who do we bring back?

For some weird reason, I think we'd be working on an extension already with Brown if that were the case. Perhaps we want him to test the market and then come back on a discount like we did with Goldson a couple of years ago? I can't see Scrabble back; if Brock keeps playing like this, I can't see us letting him go, especially since based on the limited, proven production, we could get him cheap (which could then potentially be a steal if he kept playing like that...sort of like how it went down with Boone). For some weird reason, I think we end up restructuring Rogers and bringing him back. Don't know why I think that, but i just have this weird feeling.

I don't think we will re-sign rodgers.

We will have Cully, Brock, and Wright

Rogers is not a FA, but we will likely let him go because of his contract. Now, do we end up re-signing him like Washington did with Deangelo Hall? Who knows, but he has played well this year.

Brock and Culliver will be locks to returning. Brown is going to be 29 years old and we may not want to pay him. I'd be stoked if we could get him to a three or so year deal.

Is Brock an FA after this season?

Yep, Brock is a FA but if he continues his good play, maybe another team gives him a better offer.

We manage to convince a lot of guys to renegotiate. I wouldn't rule out Rogers just yet.

Possibly, and he hasn't played terribly or anything, but he has lost some of his speed. That is not a surprise as most CBs do when they hit the age of 31 or 32, but Fangio is a huge fan of us.

So the defense now ranks 4th in PPG allowed, and 6th in YPG allowed. The thing that excites me is we should get better as guys will continue to get healthier, and get our elite pass rusher back.
