How big a loss is Shane Vereen? Played 60% of the off. snaps, 33% on special teams on Sunday. 101 rush yds, targeted 10 times as a receiver

Obviously Fells resigned, lots of heavy sets, extra lineman maybe a guy like Cannon at TE and back to 03 where we played great D and controlled the clock with accurate passing and opportunistic plays by the secondary. just the way the coach wants it!!

He might be able to swindle his way into another semi-large role for the next few weeks now, though his 'performance' yesterday indicates he should be out of the freakin' league.

wow thats an over-reaction. He is still a very good RB as long as he doesnt fumble.

It's just a pulled hamstring but Sudfeld already been hurt is concerning.

There's no such thing as 'just a hamstring'.

Well, yeah, there was certainly elements of sarcasm in that post. I just think Ridley needs to do some serious work in order to regain the trust of BB, the coaches, the players and the fans again. He's had fumbling issues for the majority of his career and he's not 'AP' good where it's easy to forgive him for turning the ball over.

I meant it's a few weeks at most [might be less] type of injury based on the report and it doesn't seem to take a long time before he's back.

Where's McMurtry citing early Kevin Faulk?

Ridley's first fumble wasn't inexcusable. He got caught in an awkward position with a huge hit. The second one was awful, but flukey.

I get that he's had fumbling issues for awhile, but for anyone to suggest he isn't a large part of any gameplan, regardless of Vereen or not, is silly. He's going to get touches andchances.

Not much longer if he keeps dropping the ball.
Next week if he put it on the ground what do you think BB will do???????
