I think Dez could be in for a big game.. just because hes probably extremely pissed about how things went for him last week.. and I'm pretty sure he'll be seeing more 1 on 1 coverage against the Chiefs DBs.

On paper this is a great game and match up for both teams. Both O-Lines Will be tested by 2 really good front sevens; Poe vs. Whoever is the Center, WR groups on both teams going up against 2 good secondaries....i expect Arrowhead to be packed and loud.
"get your popcorn ready!" gonna be a good one for sure.

That would be our first round pick, Fredbeard (Travis Frederick). He has been looking good so far, but with the good reports about Poe this season I am very interested to see how he matches up.

I Don't do sig bets. We totally get into it for the Giants because they are annoying snots of fans.

Perhaps I could be persuaded to join if you guys become really, really, really annoying. But as a whole I like Chief fans.

I personally don't have much of an interest in sig betting the chiefs. There may be some overzealous cowboys fans that do. But, IMO, this would be a bad game for Cowboys fans to get involved in a sig bet.

On a side note... Cowboys fans, get ready for next weeks sig bet against the Rams. I hope y'all haven't forgotten.

Interesting tidbit about Chiefs Oline

@SportsSturm: Kansas City OL: 1st Round LT, 2nd R LG, 2nd R C, 3rd R RG, 1st R RT. Invest in the line of scrimmage. 300 lb>200 lb

Ouch

@KavnerDC: Evidently, Sims hurt his groin again. He's back on injury report.

This should be a tough game for us, but one that I expect to win. I hope Brian Waters is ready because I would rather not have to deal with Bernadeau for much longer. Poe will be a good test for Frederick and whoever wins that battle can very well determine what kind of day we have on offense. Also will need to watch out for Hali and Houston off the edges. Using Murray and the run game often enough should be able to slow down their pass rush.

As for our defense, KC does not have as much explosive potential as the Giants do, but I would like to see what we have done to address the issue of being beat on deep plays. The Giants burned us on 2 huge pass plays during the game and Monte Kiffin's scheme is designed to prevent the big play. I think our run defense is good enough to make sure Charles does not run all over us (though he will still get his). If we can limit Charles' contribution, I don't think Alex Smith will be able to take over and win.

23-16 win.

Anyone remember Miles Austin's monster game against KC a few years back? Winning it in OT with over 200 yards. I would love to see someone take control of the game like Miles did that game. I don't care if its Murray, Dez, or Austin. I just want to see someone completely take hold of this game and get us to 2-0.

We get up 1 game and always fall back to .500 or it has at least felt like that the last few years. Time to say F*** trap games, go into KC and knock some heads around.

Haha, does anyone not remember that game? That was probably the defining game of that season. Started 2-2, finished 9-3, won a playoff game for the first time in forever, largely because of Austin's emergence.

(and then got humiliated by Minnesota, but still)
