Dallas (1-0) vs Kansas City (1-0)
-- Sunday, September 15th, 2013, 1:00 PM EST --

Kansas City looked pretty good in opening week. Granted they were up against one of the worst teams in the league, but even so, they had 6 sacks and 2 picks, one of which went back for a TD.

The Cowboys opened the season with a strong defensive showing with 6 takeaways. Letting up way too many yards passing, but if we can shut down the running game again, it should bode well for us. The offense looked pretty bad. There were miscues all over the place, the play calling was suspect to say the least, our run-pass ratio was just awful especially considering we had the lead for the entire game and Murray having over 4 YPC.

KC's passing game (from looking at the stats) doesn't seem like it was anything special, and I think our defense is better than Jacksonville.

In any case, it's our first road game and we have a lot that needs to be improved upon from our first game. The offense has to capitalize on these turnovers. They need to drive down the field and have some better play calling. We are all hoping they throw Berningduece off the team and Waters is ready to start, that KC D-line is no joke. Let's go out there and win this game Boys, I want to keep making these GDT's Very Happy

Let the discussion begin!

Should be a really interesting game. I am higher on KC than most and I love their Defense.

If we contain Charles, I like our chances.

If we stop Jamaal Charles, we stop the Chiefs. But, the Chiefs' defense is pretty underrated and has been for a few years. I think this game will be tougher than people think.

Never easy winning on the road, especially at Arrowhead.

Offense will definitely need to step up. I trust our defense to shut down the run and Alex Smith.

We tend to agree about 80-90% of the time. Just voice things differently.

I REALLY love Charles potential as a receiving threat. But I am concerned with his injury history.

KC's defense is legit. Pretty strong on every level.

Dontari Poe (remember him?) has allegedly developed into a monster

Charles has the potential to be a nightmare in Reid's offense. He has the ability to be a better version of Brian Westbrook, and that's a matchup nightmare for anyone.

Westbrook was the player I feared the most during that generation. I felt the rest of the league undervalued how dominant he was. And a real student of the game. I will never forget his break-away would be TD that he stopped at the 1 just to kill the clock. That's a team player. And a smart one.

The biggest X factor in this game is going to be Andy Reid. That guy just happens to have our number!

He was undervalued because other teams didn't understand what his value really was. Players like Westbrook don't come around very often. Roger Craig was the first Westbrook and no one really appreciated how valuable he was to the 49ers in their heyday...until he was off the field. Westbrook's threat was his versatility, but teams were still in the workhorse RB school of thought at that time. If you hit the fast forward button and placed a 23 year old Westbrook in today's NFL, he'd be one of the most feared players in the league because the league understands how to properly utilize his talents now. Jamaal Charles will be the benefactor of that, in my opinion.

It's going to be a crazy game. I've heard the same of Poe, not to mention they have Mike DeVito on that line as well, who will be going up against (I believe) Berningduece if Waters still isn't ready. That's a matchup I don't like. And Justin Houston is looking like a monster right now. 3 sacks in that first game, constant pressure. Going to be a real test to see if our O-Line is as good as we thought in that opener (minus the obvious Bernadeau)

Poe vs Fredbeard too ...

I really hope to see Waters in there and not Burning duece. Otherwise our offensive line was impressive against the Giants. As well as the defensive line. I cant believe those two statements just came out of my mouth.

Charles is scary though, and we had obvious pass protection issues against the giants.

Our offense needs to get Dez involved. He's a good decoy, but we need to find ways to get him opportunities despite double coverage.

I'm expecting a redemption game from Terrance Williams. I even think he scores a touchdown. I also see an explosive play or two from Lance Dunbar in his first game back.

The game could be a close one, but I think we fix our defensive mistakes and win 34-17.
