What game film are you watching where Holmes is playing LT?

he senior film at southern mississippi.
Umm...yeah...about that. Laughing

he started all 14 games at LT. you're thinking of his junior year where he played RT.
Not the point.
what is?
For starters, it's college. Southern Mississippi on top of that.

last time I checked, draftable prospects come from most D1-A teams.

Last time I checked, he didn't face a lot of good college defensive ends...let alone NFL caliber defensive ends...let alone NFL starters.

Last time I checked, competition has nothing to do with technique.

Robert Alford also didn't play many NFL caliber wide receivers at SE Louisiana, yet he looked damn good against the Saints.

He was raw and his technique was poor at Southern Miss. I don't know what you were watching.

He had confidence in his technique at left tackle when at Southern Miss. He didn't look tentative like he does at RT.

You are talking about level competition. I brought up a guy who played lesser competition.

also, his footwork was good at Southern Miss. His punch was strong, but he needed to put it all together. He's way more raw at RT this year.

It's easy to be confident when you're that physically gifted going against the competition that he faced.

That wasn't the point I was making when I brought up level of competition.

BACK TO THE TOPIC! lol

i was pleased with Holmes's play in the first half. def went down hill in the second. seem to jus get tired. but u saw that he could handle himself for the most part.

Baker played like he did 2 years ago. def wasnt good. but hopefully it gets better. im still not impressed with Reynolds. i still believe he is our weakest OL and needs to be replaced.

our CBs played extremely well. if they play like that all year, we will be fine there.

Moore and Decoud and our LBs NEED to cover RBs and TEs better.
Especially Decoud. Always out of position, and cant tackle to save his Mama's life. He's overrated around here like a mf.
Let's not act like Graham and Sproles aren't two of the biggest matchup nightmares in the NFL. Then you add Brees' ability to throw receivers open by placing the ball perfectly and it's almost impossible to stop those guys.
It happens ALOT. Im not just talking about this game.

Not taking up for scar cause sometimes I think he is full of **** and pretends to be a scout but yesterday In practice they moved Holmes to LT so coaching staff might also see him as a LT but TD paid Baker so they tried him out at RT in replace of Clabo

Free safety Thomas DeCoud (knee), defensive tackle Peria Jerry (knee), defensive tackle Cliff Matthews (neck), cornerback Asante Samuel (thigh) and linebacker Sean Weatherspoon (knee) were limited.
With Baker out, Lamar Holmes moved over to left tackle and Jeremy Trueblood took over at right tackle
