I'm not as worried about Schwartz as most. Cameron Wake is an elite rusher in this league and he gets to go up against RT's.

It wasn't a good game by any means, but i'm still not that worried about him.

Shwartz looked bad, like a rookie starting his 1st game - but lets face it, Wake can do that to people. And, looks who he's playing next to- literally the worst lineman in football.

And don't expect it to get any better.

I NEVER thought I'd be praying for Lauvao, but I am. That's how pathetic the G situation is for this team.

For the Weeden haters out there, take heart - the guys gonna get himself killed by game 4.

I honestly don't get why Gilkey won't get a shot.

We know that Cousins is trash. EVERYONE knows it.

Gilkey looked better in his time in preseason.

I don't either - but that kind of senseless stubbornness by the coaching staff regarding someone as pitiful as Cousins makes for short careers.

I watched the game again, thought maybe I was being overly critical ... I wasn't. Cousins was just awful. He's going to get Weeden or TR hurt. If it were up to me he'd be putting in a resume for the closest car wash TODAY.

No way Gilkey could play as badly.

Hell, we could have been better off with Gilkey a rookie from a D-2 school. Cousins lower body looks small too

I think it would be nice to see if we can trade Cousins to Pittsburgh for a late round pick in next year's draft.... Very Happy

Oh damn it.

Honestly, the fact that Mcfadden doesn't play at all makes me wish we drafted a guard instead of him. Brian Winters would be a starter for us.

The fact that Tyrann Mathieu (picked 1 spot after we took McFadden) not only played, but made plays in week 1, further reinforces my belief that this front office has no freaking clue how to run a draft.

I'd accept a late round pick in the 2024 draft. Heck, I'd accept a late round pick in the 1968 draft for Cousins.

Many good points on what happened and most of us are concerned as I believe the Right side of line is one of the most important parts of running game. One game does not make a season but I was extremely disappointed in the offensive side of the ball. This team must run the ball to open passing game and we ran 13 out of 70 plays. Chud and Turner were clearly outcoached as they should have had RB or TE give a chip to Wake to slow down or have RB or TE to help double team. Fact remains RG has to run block and RT has to pass block. I will give Schwartz a pass but very disappointing after a summer of alleged hard work to play like a slug. TE, FB, RB, and WR better get their acts together and learn to block every play until the whistle. If Chud thinks Cousins is the answer, he needs to look at film or listen to his coaches not Lombardi. Where is Terry Steinbach?
