Josh Freeman benched in favor of rookie Mike Glennon

Vets are down with the move, Freeman lost the locker room.

Freeman for Josh Gordon. Strait up. But in all honesty I think a 4th is what we will get. Dom has definitely made mistakes at times as a GM but he has done a lot of good too. One of his positives is getting top value for players.

Browns
Vikings
Jaguars

I still hope Hundley and or Mariota enter the draft cuz its just more chance we get a different QB...unless of course Glennon looks really good.

I'm thinking we could trade him to the Packers for a 5th-6th round

I feel like three wildcard teams... Niners, Bears and the real "dark horse" Chiefs. Both the Bears and Niners have coaches that have "re-invented" QB's and could like the challenge of "re-developing" Freeman and then eventually shipping him out for draft picks. In the case of the Chiefs that would be a wet dream for Freeman and Reid. While Freeman gets to go play for his hometown team and (favorite team as he has stated in the past), Reid gets a guy who is a McNabb clone who he can develop now while he has Alex Smith as his starter for the time being and could replace him. I have some feeling that Kansas City could be a secret team looking to add a developmental QB and Freeman still only 25 fits the mold.

But to your second point my fingers are crossed that Hundley and or Mariota declare for the draft. And we are in position to grab one of the two. Pray

Before everyone writes off glennon. Read. Good evaluation.

Gruden also thought Freeman would have a bounce back year and the Bucs would make the playoffs. He's a homer, just like us

He says he has a strong arm. We all know that.

You have to wonder, why would a guy who has that strong of an arm, about as strong as Gruden has ever seen, slide to the 3rd round? It's all of the other things Gruden didn't mention. All he can say is "well...his arm is strong."

Carson Palmer had said that according to his agent the Bucs were doing in heavy contact.

We should go get kirk Cousins he has been very good coming in for RGIII he shouldn't be that expensive considering he is a backup QB and he has a lot of talent

Oops haha that doesn't make to much sense.

We were foing for Carsoj thos off season. I guess we weee really close to aquiring him andthen the Cardinals came out of nowhere. So Glennon was our next choice.

He's been adequate.

He'd be more expensive than you think.

That's just patently untrue. Physically everything about his game is below average.

Personally I think Cousins is an ideal backup, but he's the kind of player whose weaknesses could be exposed relatively quickly as a full time starter (specifically in this offense should hell freeze over and Schiano retain his job).

A team is going give up a fair amount to get him soon, and I'd prefer it not be the Bucs.

Thing is, physical talent at the QB position is the most OVERRATED ability right now. Cousin's arm strength is good enough to make the thorws. It/s not a cannon. Its what is mental. Can he process what the defenses are throwing at him quickly? From what we;ve seen in a limited amounbt of time, yes.

However I would not invest in a first round pick in him. I'd give up maybe a 3rd that can turn into a 2nd for 2015.,
