Quote:
Brett Favre isn't making an NFL comeback. But he could if he wanted to, insists agent Bus Cook.

"Today, he could play today," Cook said Monday night, via the Mobile Press-Register. "I saw him the other day. He's in the best shape I've ever seen him in, physically."

"His arms look like a blacksmith's arms. He rides a bike probably 30-50 miles a day. He runs four or five miles a day. He's coaching at the high school and they're undefeated. He loves it. His body fat is 7.5 percent and he weighs 225 pounds. He could play today, better than a lot of them out there today."

If we had a winning record and/or if Free was having at least a decent season then none of this complaining would be going on.

Our only real issue is that we don't seem to have a QB. It's THE problem. If we had a decent one we'd be fine.

I think not having a franchise QB exposed a lot of weaknesses of the coaching staff. So its a bit deeper that you're letting off. And none of that is reality so I dont really get what the relevance of it is.

No to Brett Favre. Schiano isn't one to stir up drama.

Qbs to watch this weekend:

- aj mccaaron
- Blake bortles
- taj Boyd

Bucs have made the move: Benching Josh Freeman for Mike Glennon, per league source.

I was starting to get sick watching Sully and Greg try and talk Freeman up the last three weeks.

Glennon time baby!

I'm not expecting much. It would just be nice to see some growth from week to week. I still expect him though to put up better numbers per game wise than Freeman.

Not really a surprise, the search for the starting Qb for '14 has begun now. I hope Glennon runs with his opportunity and succeeds, it will make it a lot easier of an offseason.

Gotta admit that this is bittersweet for me. I truly think that Freeman has the talent to do great things in this league, it's just not going to be here. The writing has been on the wall for a while now.

We had to see what Glennon was made of sooner or later. Now is as good a time as any. Good luck!

Teams called the Bucs inquiring about Josh Freeman over the summer. At least a few will follow up to see what it might take to get him now

I personally don't think anyone is going to trade for him given his contract situation, the fact he has played so up and down, more down lately and the draft having some nice options.

Chances Freeman gets moved? To who and for what?

Haha, just answered my question.

Now to what team and what do we get in return?

i would take any draft pick in exchange, he's not going to be here next year anyway. a 4th would do it for me

Do the Browns take a closer look?

They have some extra ammo. Throwing a mid/late - late pick at us wouldn't hurt them. Chud has seen Free up close. Hoyer had a big game but is he the longer term answer?

The Jags or are they all in for Teddy?

I think the most likely team is the Vikings. Most ready win team now besides us of course without a qb.
