My god. This team is a m.a.s.h. unit after 1 game.

I think trying to plug in a UDFA at either C or ILB would be utterly insane.

Vince Williams starting as the defensive signal caller? Haha. You guys can't be serious.

Right now, I have a slight amount of faith in John Malecki as a C. He got some reps there during camp. Looking at the FA list, if they bring on a vet C it almost has to be Velasco as has been said.

I wonder how serious Bart Scott's retirement is.

Clark Haggans might be able to come back and play the Mike instead of OLB.

Keith Brooking is 37, but still started most of last season for Denver.

Barrett Ruud might be a good choice with some upside as he's only 30.

The team just signed Wallace, who is an interior guy. They could have brought back Malecki. I'd rather role with Beachum if those are the options. He has more physical ability and knows the scheme.

The Sean Spence injury and letting Doug Legursky walk for no good reason are killing the team right now.

he gets a ton of praise he doesn't deserve.

he's good, but not amazing like these announcers want to act like he is.

As I understand it, McFadden is on their practice squad. They could still sign him if they want.

Yep, definitely McFadden is definitely on the Raiders practice squad.

If I'm the Steelers, I'm signing him and Re-signing Johnathan Dwyer tomorrow before the Giants do...

Hard to say that the Spence injury is killing the team, they weren't really counting on him anyways.

I agree on Letting Doug Legursky walk that was/is definitely baffling to me Confused

Same here, I like Meacham, he just needs more work at center. If he can become serviceable at center, then that means he'd be serviceable at all the OL positions. Very Happy

Good list. I'd definitely enjoy seeing Bart Scott beating up on the Ravens twice this year.

Clark will be the signal caller. Not sure who his backup is. Perhaps Troy or Timmons

Pouncey is no where near as good as everyone says, might not even be top 10, definitely not top 5, never was. He looks good because of the not so good players around him. Nothing special at all and the replacement has all season to prove that. Wouldn't that be something, Dwyer comes back and has a 1000+ yard year with replacement center ?

While I agree with you to an extent, I do think he's a lot better than some of the guys we got on our Oline.

We have, right now, (including Pouncey who is now injured), 2 First round Picks, 2 2nd Round Picks, a 7th Round Pick(Beachum, now a starter), and an undrafted FA (Foster).

The fact our Oline continues to play like garbage is disheartening. When you look back at the Maurkice Pouncey selection...you almost have to ask yourself...what were we thinking? Same with selecting Gilbert and Adams, because frankly, they have NOT improved our offensive line at all.

This paragraph shows a minimal understanding of the offensive line at best...

Maurkice Pouncey has never been as good as advertised but he is QUITE CLEARLY an elite C in the NFL. Clearly top 5 or 6. There is only one C in the NFL that is better at getting to the 2nd level. Unfortunately surrounding him are Gs that choose to chop their own linemen and can't run block.

1 Lineman cannot improve an offensive line alone. Your disdain for Adams is bordering on ridiculous at this point. Your assesment of the entirity of our offensive line is based on less than 1 whole drive together in 2 of the players 2nd year...
