C.J. Mosely i.l.b. could very well be the Brown's first round pick in your scenario. I think D'Qwell Jackson either restructures or gets cut. Jackson will be 31 yrs. old in sept. of 2014. His contract cap numbers are 2013 6.4 million, 2014 8.1 million, 2015 8.6 million and 2016 9.2 million. He is also due a 4 million dollar bonus next year. Joe Banner also seems to let players at Jackson's age go. If Jackson does hit free agency would any team seriously give him a contract close to this. Jackson is also poor in pass coverage. Mosely is very good in pass coverage and good against the run. Brown's right now are fine in cap space with 25 million under but it looks like we have a good crop of young players who are going to get paid and 25 million will go quick. We are in a passing league so Mosely makes sense in this regard also.
Second round could go free safety depending on how well Tashaun Gipson plays. The coaches are high on him but we shall see. I'd probably go with a tall corner here for right now or a playmaker on offense.

Can't really argue with 2 corners, considering Talib could be gone and who knows about Dennard, Arrington, or Ryan, but I would be a little upset with this. Especially cause you have De'Anthony Thomas and Jordan Matthews going right after that, not that WR is a big need, but those guys are potential studs. I think that the Patriots go DT or DE, then WR or CB, or some combination of that.

Heck if I am the Pats and Evans and Mathews fall like rain to us in both rounds then they simply cannot pass up on improving the passing game with the two best NFL prospects at the WR position. Dude above me loves DAT but he would not work for NE.

3.Oakland-Brett Hundley|QB|UCLA

13.Minnesota-Louis Nix|DT|Notre Dame

Nix is the correct selection at #13
However, If MIN is #13, I hope they put together a trade package for QB Brett Hundley at #3

Seattle could use a few weapons at positions that would allow them to free up some money due to current contracts.

1.) Mike Evans - Allows them to cut Rice or restructure.
2.) Colt Lyerla - Same as above with Zach Miller

No to both. Purifoy doesn't impress me and TE isn't a need. Nix or Easley in the first and Mariota in the 2nd.

I like the draft for the Panthers. Sammy Watkins is a great pickup.

If we're picking at #5 and don't trade our entire draft for one of the top QB's I'd be shocked. And pissed off.

I can dig it.
Lynch is the pass rusher and Mariota is a potential franchise Qb.

rather go secondary or pass rush in the second. I like the good young Dlinemen we have.
