You guys know the drill. What's gonna happen this year?

Offense:

Geno has an up and down year but flashes signs of a very capable playmaker

The Jets run a year long committee with Ivory and Powell and neither of them stand out but both were somewhat capable backs.

Holmes doesn't produce and was banged up for most of the year.

Kerley reaches 1000 yards on the season.

Hill and Spadola reach 500 yards each

Cumberland and Winslow are both somewhat effective but none were huge playmakers.

The offensive line play is excellent all around all year.

Defense:

The defensive line is stout. Richardson is in the running for Defensive rookie of the year and Mo almost hits double digit sacks.

Barnes is mostly ineffective

Coples misses a few games but still tallies 8 sacks

DeMario Davis is great all around in coverage and against the run.

Harris struggles a lot in coverage but Is still solid against the run.

Cromartie wasn't as good as he was last year but he is still excellent in coverage.

Milliner has a very good rookie season and shows off some brilliance in coverage and against the run and intercepts 4 passes.

The safeties don't kill us but none stand out.

Post your own!!!!!

Vladimir Ducasse and Powell are all pro bowlers.

Jeff Cumberland scores at least 7 times.

Troy Davis makes an immediate impact on defense.

That's all.

Not a prediction, but hoping Antonio Allen takes over Dwight Lowery's pick 6/big play role.

Stephen Hill, at some point, will have a game that will be one of the top ten wide receiver performances of the season.

They Jets have the potential to win every game on the schedule. I don't a game the Jets can't win. Reality is the Jets are human and will not always play to their potential. There I had a put a few loses in my predictions.

Offense:

Team Record: 10 - 6, Jets win division on tiebreaker

Geno Smith 3200 passing yds, 250 rushing yds, 22TDs, 24INTS, 0 butt fumbles
Mark Sanchez - Will not play another snap for the Jets again. BYE.
Chris Ivory - Will get injured and flame out. Waste of a 4th round pick.
Bilal Powell - Will lead team in rushing at about 750yds.
Jeremy Kerley - Lead receiver at 85 catches for 1100yds , 2 punt return TDs
Stephen Hill - Breakout receiver at 70 catches for 900yds and 11TDs
Santanio Holmes - Will be traded before season is over.

Defense:

- Will be the #1 rated defense in football.
- Muhammed Wikerson will be Defensive Players of the year with over 100tackles and 12 sacks
- Sheldon Richardson will be rookie Defensive Player of the year with 50 tackles and 7 sacks.
- Dee Milliner ( D.I.) will lead team in INTs with 7.

Playoffs: Will not make playoff predictions. Too many disappointments to jinx it.

Vlad solidifies his spot at LG.

Goodson makes a big impact when Ivory goes down mid season.

Geno holds onto the QB spot all year and has more TD's than INT's

Richardson is DROY

AA leads the team in INT's

We get our first 1,000+ yard receiver in some time. (not sure who though). I'm thinking Kerley.

We're not a bottom 5 team in the league and we don't finish last in the AFC East (the Bills do)

The only BOLD prediction I could think of that I actually believe could happen is Sheldon Richardson wins DPOY.

I assume you mean DROY.

I think Geno could win OROY. A non-QB has only twice since 2006. In 2007 when no rookie QB started more than 4 games and 2009 when Sanchez was the only rookie QB that started more than 10 games.

Geno Smith passes for 3500 yards 22TDs 16INts 60% and we celebrate because its the best QB season we've had since Chad.

Mark Sanchez gets IRed and cries.

The offense greatly improves under Marty and we dont finish in the bottom 10.

Defense is not ranked in the top 10 for once and struggles for most of the season.

Kellen Winslow leads us in TDs.

Stephen Hill has about 1000 yards or close to it.

Not Jet reaches 10 sacks, yet again.

I have us going 7-9 honestly. Even with decent QB i just dont think theres much talent on this roster. Theres a foundation but we lack a big time difference maker on both sides of the ball.

If he's healthy, it's going to happen at some point.

- Top 10 in rushing offense.
- Hill proves he can be a #1 WR . 76 catches, 1,000 yards, 9 tds.
- Kellen Winslow 6tds
- Geno smith; 3000 24tds, 17ints, 58% comp.

-Cromartie will lead the team in int's with 5.
-David Harris have a bad season and rumors will fly about him being moved.
- Defense not ranked in the top 10.

This season is one I have no idea what to expect. I sense it will be volatile though- in other words, big low moments followed by big high moments, followed by more low.

I wouldn't be surprised if Geno gets banged up and Matt Simms plays a game or two, he'll play well enough to create a mini QB controversy.

Gun to my head, I'd say we've seen the last of Mark Sanchez under center for the Jets.

Braylon Edwards will be back at some point, maybe as early as the end of next week.

Kellen Winslow will survive the season on a LaRon Landry type schedule. Chris Ivory will be in and out of the lineup week to week.

I wouldn't be shocked to see Brandon Moore return for one last swan song if there's an injury.

Jeremy Kerley will have a better year than Tavon Austin. Holmes will be pedestrian at best. Hill will emerge and have a good season.

Mohammed Wilkerson will make the Pro Bowl, as will Cromartie. Sheldon Richardson will register 8 sacks.
