Yes... already.

Also:

he New England Patriots did some managing of the back end of their roster Wednesday, releasing rookie offensive lineman Chris McDonald from the injured reserve list, which makes him a free agent, according to a source.

In addition, the practice squad contract of Jordan Devey was disapproved, though the reason is unclear. That leaves the Patriots with one open spot on the practice squad.

Beat writers said that Mulligan had some kind of cast on his arm but he did practice with it and i doubt the Patriots didn't know about it when they signed him.

Anyway, two rosters spots open now.

I wish. But he's not really a fit with McCourty at FS anyway. Plus the money, the division rivalry, the cost in draft picks, and on and on and on...

Oh, I know you were, but it still makes me sick that the two picks before him were Ron Brace and Darius Butler.

Ugh, Develin again? I can't believe they can't find a better option.

John Conner just got cut by the Bengals. I know he's a little one-dimensional, but he was great at stoning guys in the hole during pre-season.

Has never been able to translate pre-season success into the regular season. The guy was pretty mediocre in New York.

I don't know, he was a very good lead blocker in 2011, but he got hurt early last year. If you want a guy to lead block and pass block and nothing else, he's offering a hell of a lot more than Develin.
