I'm still not quite getting the Manziel hate -

There's choir boy, then there's conduct detrimental. He falls a lot closer to the latter than the former. He's (allegedly) risked his college career for money he didn't need, and thinks that rules don't apply to him. Then also blew off his coach and got a 15 yard unsportsmanlike for taunting Rice, a nobody school that his team had no business even caring about.

That's a recipe that if it were another player would be major character red flags

Add also that he is the reigning heisman winner and Starting QB and his own team did not vote him onto the 12 man leadership committee they have to be liaisons between the coaching staff and the team

I get what you're saying - and so do most people which is why such behavior is pushing him out of 1st round consideration. Obviously its way too early to make such predictions, and I'll say again he clearly needs to grow up some and tone down the behavior. BUT - he's 21, he's not out getting DUI's or failing drug tests, and a little fire on the field isn't a bad thing, he just has to learn to be smarter about it. But to get a talent like that IF he falls to the 2nd or 3rd? I can't see how it shouldn't be considered, especially if he can season on the bench for a few years, and especially given that we have extra 3rd & 4th round picks.

Many wanted nothing to do with Honey Badger either, who DID fail multiple drug tests. And he could certainly still flame out, no question - but right now he's looking like the steal of the draft. My point is Manziel's issues are maturity-related, and I think potentially fixable. I'd roll the 2nd or 3rd round dice on him.

And Buno, I like both guys, but one thing to point out is that Teddy is more than 2 years younger, which would suggest he has significantly more room for improvement left if they're at similar skill levels now.

We have Weeden, I dont care how old the 2 are... they are both under 24 thats fine with me. Also I dont want to wait for a guy to learn and grow, specially with one who might be ready

what makes you think that Boyd would be right ready to go and Teddy wouldnt be?

I like Boyd but I like Bridgewater, in watching both of them there isnt anything Boyd can do that Teddy cant

to me its the other way around. There is nothing Teddy can do that Boyd cant but Boyd has shown the sbility to make plays with his feet and that Boyd has massive amounts of experience if huge games

I don't want a QB.

I want Weeden to blow up this year.

Then draft the best possible player regardless of position, except LT, RT, C, SS, and RB.

I would actually love for them to add Sammy Watkins and D'Anthony Thomas if they could. We need to get weapons on the field

The main reason I wouldn't want Manziel is because I don't think he has the arm strength to be successful in Cleveland's offense.

There are a lot of players I'd like to add but I think we need a taller corner either in the 1st or 2nd round. Corner also needs more depth i.m.o. Right now we have only 4 corners and three are 5' 9" inches tall. Anymore your nickel corner is just about a starter.

Dude is elite at body control, manipulating defenders and vision. He runs like I used to run (in style). I like watching players who make everyone else look like they belong in a lower league. That being said, I'm not sure how it will translate to the NFL where you aren't usually granted the type of space to make multiple people miss. He certainly won't be an every down back, but he could be Eric Metcalfesque.
