Multiple sources have Bengals SS Taylor Mays stepping up to play some OLB.

He certainly has the speed and aggression to take on the bigger guys on 3rd down. Do we think this will work ? Personally, I like the move.

Nickel LB is the best position for him. Doesn't mean he'll excel at it but it is the position he's ideally suited for.

BTW, whose starting the GDT this year? theJ? JohnDeere? The infamous Beck?

Well when you only have 5 LB's on your roster, you have no choice but to push other players into other positions.

If Mays would put on some more weight maybe he can play LB full time instead of S because he struggles at that still.

Yeah; I noticed; I've been to a few of those 'all you can eat for $9.99' buffet deals out there........

Ahhhhhhhhh.....its the start of the football season......... just gettin' set here for Ravens @ Broncos; (hope they both lose); got a fair 'lunch' here now 'J' with some beer and ribs and a chilli buffet 'bout ready. Trouble is its 1 am in the morning here........
