Good game fellas. Hope Pouncey's injury isn't too terribly bad, as well as the others. Hate to see so many guys go down.

Good luck the rest of the season. Keep the Bengals and Ravens at bay pretty please.

I couldn't help but notice the crowd. It seemed very "Un-Steelers" like. Never seemed like they were into it.

Just not caring out the Titans? or Was pre-season disappointing?

Yes, yes I did. We played even worse than that garbage team. How sad is that (btw don't take it personal TN, I'm just frustrated).

IIRC, last year the Titans game was the one where we got injuries in the bunches.

Don't bother falling into the trap. No reason for it.

Sorry to hear about Pouncey guys. That was such a weird play for him to go down on.

Yeah. Wasn't it Gilbert and Troy last year?

I think it boils down to being out-coached.

Good game, tough break on the injuries.

I don't think it boils down to being "out coached" in the sense that the Titans are the better coaches. I think the Titans coaching staff did enough to get the W. I think had we had a legit running game effort today and Todd Haley did a better job calling plays, 14 points would not have been enough, and no, I don't think the titans were capable of scoring more. But I would agree that we were out coached in the sense our coaches did not do enough to keep up momentum and didn't do a good job with putting the right guys on the field from the get go.

The better quality team isn't always the team that wins the game. But the team that performs better is, I would agree the titans as a whole performed better.

I feel like this is a bit silly. Of course if you had a legit running game and better offensive plays, things would have been different. But that'd be like saying if the Titans had a better passing attack today we would have won in a rout. There was no space in the running game and the Titans were getting consistent push up the middle, disrupting any chance at getting things going on the ground. If the Titans weren't capable of scoring more than 14 points than the Steelers weren't capable of developing a legit running game.

God I hope that didn't come across in a bad way.

All the injuries really suck guys. In the end, you're the Steelers, at some point things will work out. Laughing

You make my point. Example: Dowell Loggains targeted Clark right after Clark got rocked and was injured. The discombobulated Clark drew the PI. Why was Clark still in the game on the exact next play after he got hurt Coach?

I have more examples but you don't want to hear them. And I don't blame you.

Both squads have much to improve on. Good luck against all others.

That's a horrible example. Listen, the Titans...as much as it pains to admit it...completely manhandled the Steelers. I don't get this argument and I don't know how anyone could defend the Steelers coaches, outside Lebeau.

Clark in no way, shape or form interfered with Walker on that play. He didn't even make contact, and the pass was un-catchable. It also wasn't the exact next play. You have to come out for one play in that situation, and that's what they did. Golden took a snap and Clark returned. That was just a horrible call. Clark does that frequently and he's fine.

The offense put everyone to sleep. I think seeing Pouncey getting taken off in a stretcher made everyone numb for a bit and then the fumble in the end zone really brought the crowd down. After that there was no reason for the crowd to cheer much when the Steelers had the ball. There were a couple of times where the crowd was into it for the defense but for the most part the Steelers never gave the crowd anything to get excited about. Pretty sad that the biggest roar was for a safety not even caused by the Steelers.
