I guess there's really not much of a chance he see's the field this year, but still, coming out he looked like a steal and this preseason made him look like an up and comer. Hopefully we got something more than a 6th or 7th.

Guess we're ready to just throw in the towel on the 2012 draft.

so far in Ryan Grigson's previous trades, if the player doesn't get enough snaps the conditional pick doesn't change hands.

Hmm.. I'm surprised about this. I liked our depth. Now, it's basically just Lemonier, because I don't believe we'll see Skuta much on defense.

So basically, a 7th rounder, which is what we drafted him for, so no loss there. I'm a little surprised; I thought he was looking very good this preseason. Guess this makes room for Harper on the roster. Also solves the questions about why we would carry 5 OLB's on the roster I guess too.

I dunno, I kind of liked the potential that Johnson brought to the table. Would have liked to see him stick around.

And yes, the 2012 draft is looking like a total bust. Easily the worst we have seen around here since the Kentwan Balmer debacle.

Jenkins - gone

LMJ - Right now I'd say he'll be little more than a change of pace guy; he can't pass protect, and his running this preseason was "meh" I thought. He showed more explosiveness than he has in the past, but he spent a lot of time running backward and laterally it seemed to me.

Joe Looney - still on the team, and serviceable depth guy. Perhaps one day he can be a starter, but as a whole, the back up offensive line unit looked awful.

Darius Fleming - Season ending injuries in TC two years straight. I doubt he ever sees the field for the 49ers

Trenton Robinson - gone

Jason Slowey - gone

Cam Johnson - Gone.

Yeah, not a big fan of this move... unless it is a 5th or better. This is our SB run, which means you may just need the depth in the long haul. We are only making our team weaker, if losing this guy by adding a late rd pick.

Don't really get why we're dumping all our OLBs.

We still have 4. Everyone thought 5 was a bit much and that Cam was a cut candidate a few days ago.

I still consider Skuta an ILB. He's more of an emergency OLB. He's not someone I want rotating on D, really. But that gives more playing time to Lemonier, which is fine by me. I just don't like where it leaves us if someone gets injured. Maybe we'd have to play more 4-3 instead, which is also fine by me.

Not enough. I get that for Haralson, but I'd think 5th or at the very least 6th. He performed better in the preseason than you'd expect a 5th to, and he's in his second year. Just don't see the point in stacking up 7th rounders. They're not gonna make the team anyway.
