You mean the 28-0 2011 game where Boller and Palmer tried to tag-team and break the single game interception record?

Didnt get to watch the game but going through the box score, looks like your team played a great game.

Proud Alex played his game and did well. His deep ball isn't great but he makes up for it with his intelligence and knowledge of the game. Charles is going to have a huge year.

Alex needs to build some more chemistry with bowe and then find a favorite te

How did the d do? Your d is stacked everywhere but along the line... How did they play?

right. That one. So it's been 2 years since we've had a win like this.

The front 7 just killed the Jags - with Poe in the lead.

Ryk I should be clear, my comment about the offensive intensity was solely geared towards the play calling etc. I think we did most things as good as they were called, but I too think that Jax played two entirely different halves of football. It'd be interesting to see how our O would have done if it was still revved up in the second half.

A tiny little tidbit from the Reid presser - but it is telling:

Quote:
On FB Anthony Sherman, who finished the game as the Chiefs leading receiver – “You don’t see fullbacks do what our fullback did yesterday; some of those guys are glorified guards. It gives you flexibility. You have to cover him or he’s going to do some damage and that’s important.”

If you keep the other team guessing you have an immediate advantage.

Back in the 90s, the Cowboys had Darryl Johnston who was like another TE.

Yeah, I figured that one out early on with Reid's offense. ALL skill position players must be a threat to catch the football. All TE's, All RB's, all FB's, and obviously all WR's.

I'm not going to lie, I was a little ticked when I saw that we traded Arenas for Sherman but now I'm not even mad. We just have to hope that one of our top 3 CB's doesn't go down.

You know, I was concerned about that before, but honestly? Our #3 CB isn't very important. Dunta Robinson saw 26 snaps yesterday. That is substantially less than Kendrick Lewis, Eric Berry, Quinton Demps, and Hussain Abdullah. #3 CB for us is lower in value than our #4 S, if things stay this way. I'm more concerned if we lose a S than a CB.

That may not be the case every week. The defense was a new look. There may have been some gimmick built in as well. For sure, the Jags could not game plan for it. I am not sure it would work on the Cowboys, just to name the next potent offense.

Chargers looked like they were for sure going to beat the Texans after the first half, but then Texans got things going and then Rivers threw a pick six and the Texans hit a game winning FG to win the game.

Looks like we are just tied with Denver right now.
