Texans looked like crap today for the most part. Chargers gave them the game.

Wow Chargers just laid down. Oh well, either way one of our future opponents took a loss.

I'd like to think our line won't fold every time the Texans rush more than four. Saw a lot tonight that I liked. Starting to think we have an actual chance next week.

Im hoping Locker remembers how last game vs Houston ended where one of there dlinemen low blocked one of ours after the last pick when the game was out of reach an Locker during the handshakes said something to him im hoping the Titans come out and smack them in the mouth early an take advantage of a rusty Arian Foster

Chance Warmack looked amazing this game. A few time I just zoned in on him and he plays like a veteran. I loved that one play where he took his guy and pushed him into the pile and got a first down with his guy lol And I think this Texans game is winnable. If we can be 2-0 going into a 3 game home stand, I will be so excited.

Next week will be a good test.

it will show us will we be a team that will push mofo's around and run the ball if we want too....and be a defense that will smack you in the mouth.

If we can do that again with some consistency this week, then we have truly found our identity.

I'm getting a feeling nobody can stop us from running if we want too. The line just feels like it has control.

We going old school. Forget passing it 42 times a game.... lol

The way we play on Sunday will determine whether or not I will get optimistic about this season

Even if we lose but play TOUGH football, that's OK. But if we come out and play like we did last year...then the Pitt game will just have been a tease

Agree. Consistency is a big part of showing improvement over last year. There's always been flashes under Munch, but nothing that's ever been sustained (probably for even more than a couple quarters). Will be interesting to see how they attack Watt.

The GDT for the texans is not up yet, so I will post this here.

I think Delanie Walker & the TEs will be featured alot this game. Gates had alot of space to work underneath the coverage last night. Also Cushing was not keeping up with the RB on those wheel routes. I could see CJ being used on flair and wheel routes to get Cushing in space. The charger OL was getting a good push inside. I know the cheap shot artist Antonio Smith was out last night serving his joke of a suspension, but I don't think he will make that much of a difference this week after being inactive for a month. The chargers gave too much cushion to AJ, so hopefully the titans can bump and run him on 3rd down because that is where schwab is looking on 3rd down. He is looking for Andre Johnson.

Cannot wait to see Chance go against Watt. I know Watt likes that overhand swim move alot. If Chance catches him in mid swim and pancakes him, that would be hilarious. Laughing I noticed that watt was moving all along the DL last night. I don't know if that was due to Smith being out on suspension or that is a new wrinkle for him this year? I know OT King Dunlap (a local high school standout) is a weak link on the charger OL, so he was lined up on him a few times I observed.

Finally Dowell please put Kendall Wright on #21 for the texans in the slot. WR Royal was killing #21 last night. I am cautiously hoping the titans can be a tough matchup for both of these teams in the coming 2 weeks.

Sunday's game will tell us a lot more about this team and in particular the offence. I'll allow them one week (against a stout D away from home) to get settled in but we cannot win that many games playing that ineptly on offence.

I am a little less optimistic of the win than I was Sunday gone, however, I am hoping for a good hard thought game with a close scoreline right to the end, unless we (miraculously) run away with it of course. Wink .

However, to go 1-0 on the road against a team who had won its last ten home openers i believe is a good achievement and I hope this is a good foundation to build upon for a solid season.
