Harper is officially being moved to TE for us. Trying to turn him into Delanie Walker 2.0

How did Harper balloon to 234 pounds? He's way out of shape at WR.

Balloon? He's 234lbs of muscle. He's def not out of shape. The only thing that kept him from making it was his drops. I think moving him to TE is a dumb idea btw

Like i said, it was definitely a competition at #3 TE. Both were allowed to pass through waivers and we retained Helfett
Wrong. McGrath is a Chief. Coincidentally, he's also the better player.

It's not wrong, both were allowed to be cut and pass through waivers. Mcgrath didn't make it trough. I know he's a chief

He's the better blocker

I also hate losing McGrath. I don't like losing Harper to a division rival, but he seems like a Poor man's Boldin rather than a good compliment to him like a field-stretching burner would've been. I think he'll have a lot of trouble getting separation from our dbs.

Yea, McGrath and Mcdonald were our worst cuts IMO.

I think you're sorely underrating him as a WR. He dropped some passes in the preseason but he has great hands. He probably wont be a factor week 1, but get him somewhat acclimated and he has more talent than any of those other guys for sure.

Not Quinton Patton. The rest you have a valid case

McGrath isn't exactly a great talent, the surprising part isn't cutting him, but keeping only 2 TEs and have yet to bring in a 3rd...atleast IMO. McDonald was going to count for 1.3m against the cap, according to overthecap.com after a recent update, so his cut wasn't surprising either.

None of the other cuts were bad though, so McGrath's might be the worst.

Did Powell sign elsewhere? Thought I saw we signed someone to replace him?

Jameson Konz was signed to the Seahawks practice squad. Replaces Ryan Seymour.
