Yeah, hopefully gamble pays off, really dont like the thought of losing Kerwynn already.

Drake Nevis got picked up off waivers by San Diego. I cant believe that we couldnt of atleast got 6th 7th round pick for Nevis

Bradley Sowell got claimed off waivers by Arizona

Curious, can you give me a little rundown on Nevis. Was he a NT or DE, a little bit of skillset or anything.

his best fit is as a 4-3 UT, but he did adjust to a 3-4 DT (RE not NT) pretty good. He wasn't the greatest run stopper but that was never a concern in Indianapolis until recently.

Me either, but as I posted in other thread, probably means Aleen/ or Fleener probably wont be available week 1.

Doyle is from Indy.

This one stings a little bit. It would’ve been nice to keep Jack Doyle as a No. 4 tight end on the practice squad. Doyle had an up-and-down preseason that consisted of a strong training camp and shaky preseason games. Doyle had some dropped passes, a fumble and a touchdown reception. That touchdown reception came in the Aug. 29 preseason finale.
Kind of annoying to see Doyle join an AFC South rival. It appears as though Doyle would serve as one of four tight ends on that roster. The Colts are just more willing to keep a fourth tight end on their 53-man roster

I agree. Hope its Fleener and not Allen. I also believe Reed made Williams expendable.
