Just starting a thread for thoughts about ideas for pickups:

I'll start...

Michael Robinson, All-Pro FB, cut by 'Hawks today

Danny Watkins, G, Eagles... yes, THAT Danny Watkins that we all laughed at the Iggles' FO about drafting a few years ago. played LG in college, exactly what we need help with now at no risk.

Even though it looks like our receivers are set, i'll also throw out:

Chris Harper, WR, 4th round pick Seahawks

huge bodied receiver in the mold of Nicks. was the centerpiece of the K-State offense after transferring from Oregon and changing positions from QB. highest wonderlic score of this draft class.

I don't think Danny Watkins will play again. I don't think his heart was ever in football. I don't think he likes playing the game.

I want nothing to do with that player, especially one that has played extremely badly

I actually had the same thought on Watkins although I hear his head isn't in the game. I didn't bring it up because I saw a post from Gmen asking in the Eagles forum whether he retired (dude is like 49) and couldn't stop laughing so hard that I decided I wouldn't embarrass myself in bringing his name up.
Embarassed

I like Robinson but unless Rhino is out I doubt they kick the tires. I actually think we should be looking for a punishing blocker TE type. Another WR would be good too. After Randle it's scary.

Three players I feel are a waste of a roster space : Darel Scott, Jerel Jernigan, Jim Cordle. There has to be three better players out there after all the cuts.

How about Fernando Velasco? Interior lineman that a lot of Titans fans were really high on. Not sure why he got cut. He can't be worse than Cordle though

For my own psyche I hope they make a move...any move Laughing I need to get over the fact that the Cowboys just claimed the Boz off of waivers from us. So pissed that we waived him and kept Herz. Evil or Very Mad

Taking a look now at names I recognize. A lot of the better ones ot claimed by teams with higher waiver priority.

James-Michael Johnson- Browns
Cameron Lawrence- Cowboys
Jamar Chaney- Eagles

I hear Dwyer is a good pass blocker so I would like it if we signed him to vet min especially with Brown going on short term IR

Jo-lonn Dunbar released from Rams started every game but is suspended for 4 games. Could be an upgrade after suspension is up
