Not really sure I understand why Rob Turner or Velasco are even mentioned in a thread like this. Both are locks to make the roster. Turner will start at center in all likelihood, with Velasco providing a solid backup at three spots on the offensive line.

Rest of those seem like strong possibilities.

Even though the coaches have said no hes still a possibility to get cut and thats Kam Wimbley. 6 Mill for a back up with a reduced role? I wouldnt be all that sad to see him go we have depth there now. If Kam does stay i hope it works where he does more with less but we'll see

I would love to try and trade Wimbley. He just is not as good as I thought he would be and paid way too much. I would love to get a 5th or even 6th for him. Of course we would have to go and sign another DE in free agency.

Those are the ones I will keep an eye on. I think that Walter went to the PUP list, so he doesn't need to get cut? Not sure though.

I don't understand this reasoning. The Titans are not in a cap crunch, nor will they be in the foreseeable future. Kam has a $4M salary, and he is the most proven pass rusher on the team. He's may be a liability against the run, but he can still be very effective for this team.

I don't see an upgrade to him if he's cut... so why do it now?

Well I can admit when I'm wrong. Absolutely stupid.

You're a respectable man… If you had looked at their OL depth chart, you'd have seen the surplus in Guards. Someone had to go… At any rate, I believe we have a very solid team. Fitz is a great insurance plan… He out played the hot and cold Romo-like play of Locker. This may carry us into the playoffs with the subtle heat behind Locker's play. Keep an eye out on that.

My reasoning for him possibly being cut (where past it now so i know hes a Titan) was for the same reason Velasco was cut and i dont mean for being a nice guy. He has a big enough salery that usually teams dont like paying that kind of money for a swing man rotational kind of guy. But i have a feeling with Wimbley there just trying to light a fire under him to get him going but we'll see

Moon was just dropping some knowledge man!! I, like you, figured Velasco had an all but guaranteed spot on the roster. Surprised

Seriously no one could predict Velasco getting cut. Still doesn't make sense to me but whatever.
