Was Gabby's throwing hand injured?
Will 15 stitches in your throwing hand keep you out for a week?

Yes. And probably. He may be able to get by with a glove, but I wouldn't count on it.

It was his throwing hand. The didn't show much, but it was bleeding like a faucet when they were waling him off the field - the rag the trainer had was soaked.

Stitches usually stay in for 7-10 days at the least (had my share).

If he did indeed get 15 stitches, that's one hell of a gash and I can't imagine them coming out in just a couple days. I can't imagine his hand being very useful with such a big hole in it.

Im no expert in football, but the problem ive always seen with gabbert is that he almost ALWAYS throws to the first guy he looks at... I see almost all of the other QBs always scan the field for the best available receiver, but Ive always, ALWAYS seen Gabbert throw to the first guy...

Its like he has decided who he is going to throw to before the play starts... and the result? INTs, blocked passes, poor performance. Ive been hoping Gabbert changes this but every game is the same thing. At least henne looks at others...

Just saying...

Cheers from Mexico!

Gabbert seems to dump off when his first read progression doesn't go through. He doesn't let routes progress. And that's compounded by the fact that he doesn't have the anticipation to see receivers out of breaks and doesn't use his arm strength to throw guys open. He's just a mess in his understanding of in game happenings.

Nice to see a new face around here.

In my first watch through, some things I was happy with

- Receivers did get some good separation, despite killing themselves with drops
- Will Blackmon and Dwayne Gratz played well
- Cyp flashed

Seriously, There is no reason for Gabbert to still be out there.
