QB Seneca Wallace told the 49ers this morning that he's decided to walk away, and they're determining how to phrase the transaction

Well, that was fun while it lasted Laughing .

I'll remember him for being an above average backup to Matt Hasselbeck during his time with Seattle. I hope he enjoys retirement.

4 drives ending in 4 turnovers was it?

Not all 4 turnovers were on him of course, but it looks more lulzy if I phrase it that way. Laughing

He was a backup worth having at one point, guess he was tired of the game

Before Oklahoma in 2001 he was the favorite to win the Heisman and Iowa State University was on the road to the National Championship. He was so much fun to watch at ISU, most thought he'd never stick as a QB. Best wishes to him

Illl never ever forget that run he made at Iowa St.... Epic... So Epic.

He was a good back up-quality person for some time in the NFL, good effort Seneca , good job.

Best of luck to him in retirement. He was a pretty good backup for a while in the NFL.

Nope, he's not retiring.
