better player than Sanchez, same media market, 2nd stringer/part-time 1st stringer playing (presumably) with 2nd stringers.

won't get anywhere near the same attention Laughing

QB vs RB, and he wasn't battling for a starting position, let alone likely to win that battle.

Not as similar as you're making them out to be.

And David wilson's fantasy stock skyrockets at the news....

Seriously though, tough break for brown. I think he's got some real talent and I honestly had believed that he was going to get more of a time share with wilson than most people thought. Hopefully he can come back fully healed.

He'll be back. He said that its not as serious as last time. Apparently its just a very small crack. Hes not out for the year.

That's a tough blow to an offense who has looked pretty bad this preseason.

I was high on David Wilson as a fantasy player already and this just adds fuel to that fire.

Any chance Willis McGahee gets a call? I can't see them putting that workload on Wilson.

That's not a bad idea

I drafted Andre Brown in my fantasy league hoping David Wilson would have some issues again and Couglin would get mad and bench him. Brown would have been valuable then. Oh well.

Something about a horrible decision by Rex Ryan, I think.

Seriously though, that really sucks to get hurt this late into the preseason. I can't imagine the disappointment this kid is feeling.

Here's to a quick and full recovery.

If Brown was a Jet, this thread would be around 14 pages by now.

Andre Brown apparently going on IR-designated for return. Can practice in Week 6, play in Week 8.

This guy cant get a break. He gets hurt every year. And I do not mean ankle sprain hurt. I mean torn or broken (insert body part here). I feel bad for the guy but the Giants cannot rely on him. Wilson better hope they do not let that backup from Maryland run the rock because he also has break away speed.
