What do you see as the 3 biggest weaknesses or needs for this years team?

Not trying to be overly pessimistic, but based on the pre-season, I'd say offense, defense and special teams.

1-tech NT, 3 down LB and depending on contract status of J.Allen, B. Rob and E. Griffen, a DE (an OG is also a possibility).[/list]

1. DT Depth
2. LB
3. CB Depth

Going straight defense. I think the starters, for the most part, are going to be alright. It's depth that's going to be a major issue if someone gets hurt.

Offensively, in the end, I think they'll be okay. I think even if injuries on offense occur, they'll be alright and can manage.

Of course, he's had more reps than anyone else in preseason. Laughing

1 tech NT, LB and LG.

I'd love to see us draft Louis Nix III next season.

OG (shocker I'd say that)
CB (been saying this for awhile)
DL (take your pick, after this year, they need 3)

#1A: DT - Specifically Nix if he isn't available our need changes
#1B: LB - Whether that be a MLB or a OLB we need a 3 down LB on this team

#2A: OG - will definitely need atleast 1 guard with the way this team's built.
#2B: DE - If by some chance all 3 of Griffen, Allen & Robison are resigned this is not a need at all. If they lose 2 of the three this a need right now. If they lose 1 of the 3 this becomes a 4-6th round need.

#3 - CB - Can never have enough good defensive backs. How early of a need this is will depend upon how the unit plays this upcoming season

Everyone is giving Ponder the benefit of the doubt that he will improve. If he doesnt, then obviously QB is #1.
