OLB, Tackles, #2 WR. All could be on the team and could turn on really good...Fox and Reiff imo

1. #2 WR
2. OLB
3. Center who doesn't get pushed back 5 yards every play

I think our DEs are a strength I don't know why DetFan think otherwise
Eh?

Because he knows that we have a bunch of unproven, or proven to be mediocre defensive ends, and never trust preseason superstars.

Still waiting for a sack from Willie Young after he was last preseason's MVP.

Because I do not believe a position with so much question can be identified as a strength.

Projected Starters:

Ansah-- zero starts. Right now you can not call him a strength. You can not call him anything because he has yet to play a single meaningful NFL snap.

J. Jones- 31 career starts (less then 2 seasons) In his 28 starts in Ten he had an amazing 6.5 sacks. That is unimpressive for a guy who gets paid to get to QB. I like Jones a lot but right now he is a nobody who has a lot to prove.

Backups:

Willie Young- 32 games and 3 sacks. Also very unimpressive for a guy who is supposed to be a pass rusher only which is his label.

Idonije- 50 career starts. 28.5 sacks. Probably their best DE right now as a back up. Good against Run. Overall he should be a starter.

D. Taylor-- see Ansah

So bottom line Detroit best DE is Idonije. The rest have a combined 31 career starts and a combined 21.5 sacks.

So yes DE is far from a strength and more of a mystery
