Cap space isn't much according to NCH but it still includes people on the roster who will be cut by next week.

There is still speculation over the cap growth, but the smart money is on a small and gradual growth each year. From wise and knowledgeable sources like the Patriots owner (Kraft).. the belief is that the 2014 cap limit will not grow drastically. So, we're probably talking about a small growth of 4 to 5 million per year.

Well that 4-5 million can go a very long ways for us right now. Luckily we've sorted out our cap space well enough to where we can lockup a kap long term, but that extra 4-5 could mean signing another solid stopgap FA or throwing that money towards Iuapati/Crab contracts.

Most are expecting big growth due to the new tv deals when they kick in.

Just in case any Niners fans were wondering... in just 10 days of being here, and nowhere near enough time for the average player to learn a playbook, he was forced to start due to an injury and had one sack, played great against the run, and was fairly good in coverage. He played very well for us today.

Just as I thought he would do. The guy is just a great all around player.

He's been steady his whole career. Def worth the draft pick.

Good to hear, rooting for Haralson to do good this year. He is good against the run and that will be the area he helps out most in.

Yeah I noticed him in there. He looked good and I am a little upset that we gave him away to another NFC team.

I thought it was a steal for you guys with what you gave up for him. He's never going to be a super star, but he's solid and will be better than more than 90% of guys picked in the 7th round, which I think is what we got for him.

I'm sure Parys can get 8-10 sacks this year. Not spectacular, but he's a very solid player. Good luck to him, and not to the Saints.
