#Bills and C Eric Wood have reached a deal on a contract extension, I'm told. Should have numbers soon...

Wood was the Bills first round pick in the 2009 draft and has devloped into a solid player, Wood never played a full 16 game season in his 4-year career but still managed to start 47 games for the Bills.

Remember #Bills C Eric Wood extension Friday? I'm told it's a 4-year extension worth $25.4M with a $9M signing bonus. Also due $2.3M in 2013

Byrd... see what happens when you come to camp and put in the work...

But I'm glad we got to extend our Wood. Laughing

He'd rather become the highest payed Safety in the NFL for a playoff contender... Which will happen this offseason.

He will probably be tagged 1 more year if a deal isn't made next off-season. It would still be less than what he is asking for.

Just prolonging the same issue for another season... We've been having similar arguments in the Bears forum, I don't see Chicago making Henry Melton one of the highest payed DT's in the NFL, and I don't think they ever plan to, which is why I don't think they tag him a second time. I don't ever see Buffalo paying him that kind of money, so why put it off another year for a disgruntle player in your locker room?

More like OBD being their usual cheap self.

Draft 3 very good players in 09 (Levitre, Wood, Byrd). Decide to extend the most injury prone and cheapest player of the 3. Wow great job Buffalo Laughing

Homers like you will buy into anything they do.

Levitre wasnt worth the contract he got in Tenn. Byrd should get paid though. I hope we can get a deal done next year.

A little steep considering his injury history, but he is capable of playing at a pro bowl level when healthy.

Seems like a steep price, but he is young and good when healthy

How is 6 million bad for a young good center?

The guy's a decent player but over 6 million a year's a little steep to me for a center in the NFL.

He's a veteran on our young o-line. When healthy, he's easily a top 5 center. I'm fine with the numbers, most Bills fans will agree, especially after what we let Levitre go for.
