WHAT??? They intend to start Tuel if Manuel is healthy and start Manuel if he's barely able to walk?????????????

I knew the Bills were inept...... but never did I think it was that bad!!!!!

Doubt it. We lost a mediocre QB and a future stud CB. Gilmore is good but he is not going to make or break our team. We will somehow finish with 6 or 7 wins like we do every year.

Please tell me you're being pessimistic? Would you not rather finish 2-14 and up with one of the best pass rushing talent in the last decade in Clowney than finish 7-9 with a low teen draft pick that will net you another non-elite talent?

Of course he's being pessimistic.

Every single time we're predicted to be heinously bad, we never are. The worst we've picked this decade is #3. We're not going to be bad enough to get a high, franchise changing pick, again, and we're going to be stuck a sa middle of the pack team for another two to three years because that's just what happens to the damn Bills.

It. Sucks.

As a Chiefs fan, I know that feel. In the RG3/Luck/Wilson/Tannehill/Foles draft class two years ago, we went into the draft having as big of a need at QB as anyone yet our dumb GM didn't even draft a QB. And the year we finally get the 1st overall pick the top rated QB is Geno Smith, a guy who goes in the 2nd round. So we end up drafting a right tackle first overall. (Though he will probably move to LT next year)

I wouldn't be too down as a Bills fan. I think EJ can be a good QB and him + Spiller + Stevie Johnson could be a good trio. There is some talent there on defense. It's not all bad in buffalo

This Tuel guy throws for 350+ and 3TDs.

Patriots defense has been awful against unknown QBs for years now.

Tuel shines, becomes the face of the franchise. EJ Manuel traded to Jets. Boom

I'm not saying Thad Lewis is the solution but they got him and Lewis > Tuel

First off, i do live in eastern side of Washington about a hour or two from Pullman and the WSU campus. However i'm not a fan of the Cougars.

I do however i hope Tuel surprises the league and lights the Pats up. I highly doubt it'll happen but miracles, small and large, happen everyday.

Plus it'd be funny to see how the Bills deal with EJ and Tuel if both are good quality QBs.

No I'm not. I am being realistic. We are the Bills it happens every year. Over the last 7 years the Bills have finished with 6 or 7 wins, 6 times. That lone exception we went 4-12. We are never as bad as people predict us to be. It is just the way it is.

Manuel still on track to start.

Can we please change the title now to "Tuel to Start if Manuel is Unable to Play"

It'd be awesome if Tuel had an awesome game and the Bills somehow beat the Pats.

EJ Manuel injury update: Bills QB doing footwork drills, more

Manuel has not yet been cleared for practice, though he believes he is ready to go. Marrone says Manuel's chances of playing week 1 will be better if he can get get on the field early next week.

Doug Marrone wrote:
Right now, he's telling me he's ready to go, but obviously he's not. That's the mentality of EJ. I'm excited about it; I've watched him do footwork drills and cones. I've watched him ride a bike. You talk to the kid and you'd think he's starting on Thursday.

What tools are you talking about??? He barely had enough physical tools at WSU to keep his starting job.

I really REALLY hope we get to see him start week one. I'm already preparing my fantasy team.

.......He has a big arm, is like 6'3, and is somewhat mobile.
Those tools.

So Tim Tebow?

Cant believe Tuel is in the league, he was average to suck as it was in college, LOL @ him starting in the NFL. No way that happens, they suit some one else before that does, or Manuel plays hurt.
