Tom Brady's first career start was against Peyton Manning.

Jeff Tuel's first career start is against Tom Brady.

Just sayin'

Tuel's got the tools to be a successful QB (no pun intended). He's obviously not ready but he's not the worst option out there.

What tools are you talking about??? He barely had enough physical tools at WSU to keep his starting job.

I really REALLY hope we get to see him start week one. I'm already preparing my fantasy team.

.......He has a big arm, is like 6'3, and is somewhat mobile.
Those tools.

So Tim Tebow?

I think they mean "big arm" as in, he can throw the ball really far, not, 'he has nice, big biceps that look good when he's running shirtless in the rain'.

Watching #Bills rookie QB Jeff Tuel this AM, and what I keep noticing is his unwillingness to pull the pin and throw the ball down the seams

between the numbers. Especially when having to push up into the pocket due to the rush. Had some wide open/big play possibilities vs Wash.

Do like how he puts the ball on the receiver in good locations on the 3step slants, and will let it go early/anticipate on the curls.

do i expect the bills to win this game? No.

But having seen and been frustrated by the Pats pass defense over the past 5 years or so, I will take nothing for granted.

This is the best guy out there right now? I didn't read all eight pages of the thread but there has to be a better vet out there to start for a week or two before Manuel comes back, right?

They signed Matt Leinart but still said afterwards that they're planning to start Tuel.

Yeah, we've got Leinart and Thad Lewis. But remember, they'll have had less than two weeks to learn the playbooks, develop chemistry with the receivers and everything that goes with that. And that neither of them are exactly in the discussion for top 10 QBs either.

So it's hard to imagine they give a better chance to win week one than Tuel.

Yeah I giggled at this as well.

I really want to see EJ play but I don't want to rush him either.

Could you imagine the Ralph after a No Name UDFA QB came out and beat the team that has massacred us for over a decade?

I'd buy his jersey. Where the same boxers as him, eat the same cereal, and borderline stalk him.

I'd camp in his yard.
