A torn ACL is feared for Giants S Stevie Brown, which obviously would likely end his season.

Brown tore his ACL after returning a Geno Smith INT yesterday. He broke out last season, recording 76 tackles, 8 INTs, 2 FFs and 11 passes defended in 11 starts, it's a big blow to the Giants.

Yeah, that's just speculation. MRI results aren't in yet--I've been updating. I'd probably put my money on a torn ACL though. That would really suck.

Yea he'll be done. No-contact injuries are always a bad thing.

The Philadelphia Inquirer believes the Eagles could cut FS Kenny Phillips by Tuesday.Tuesday is the day teams have to trim their rosters down to 75. Phillips has missed the last two preseason games with a quadriceps injury. The Eagles are desperate for help next to SS Pat Chung, but it looks like rookie Earl Wolff is the favorite to start at free safety. Phillips signed a one-year, $2 million deal this offseason in an effort to rehab his value. It's not working. Aug 25 - 10:23 AMSource: Philadelphia Inquirer & Daily News

Fark. The second I saw his knee buckle I knew that's what it was. Poor guy was in a contract year too.

It'd be interesting to see TT come back and play safety

This puts us in a bad situation. For a defense that is already confusing we really needs guys with lots of reps. Looks like we have to rely on Ryan Mundy ... gah Sad

You know, the majority of fans had that same sort of reaction towards Stevie Brown last year. Just saying.

If Phillips is cut from the Eagles, it means his knees are shot. Their S position is bad as well.

So no to Kenny Phillips
