I'm surprised by the Lance Louis cut. Thought he was supposed to be pretty good.

I'm not to be honest. I'm really not surprised by any of the cuts. Louis has not been able to heal fully from the acl injury and with jerry coming into his own he will do for now. I was surprised by Lane but then as I watched more film you can see charles clay playing more fb in the h back role.

Wow, I've been miffed by the whole 4-5 TEs we had on the roster & just who gets cut first.
I was leaning toward Egnew being the first but Charles Clay !

I was under the impression he was the most versatile making him the #2 or even the #3.

Shows how much I know

It wasnt Charles Clay that was cut Sug. It was the LB Clay.

This is one of those few moments in life where it pays off to be an idiot, my bad ... Smile
I like CHARLES CLAY as one of those hybrid FB/TE kinda guys.
I think he poses a missmatch for Nickle Deff.

Thanks

And I think it's ridiculous to suggest that a 9 year NFL vet is gonna be so shook over an injury a week ago that he can't play right.

I think you have to remember we are dealing with people not robots. You need proof, look at DeShean Jackson. He admited to not giving 100% effort during his contract year. Look at the game tape, he slid, ran out of bounds instead of trying to get the extra yardage like previous years. I do not blame them.

Also remember how Starks played down the stretch last year after the death of a family member. Poorly.

Nobody suggested otherwise. What does DeSean Jackson dogging it have to do with the suggestion that a 9-year NFL vet, who has undoubtedly seen countless players suffer season or career ending injuries over the course of his career, is going to be so bothered by Keller getting injured specifically that he won't play well? And why does this apply to Starks and not the other dozen impending free agents?

It begins: RB Jonas Gray has been cut by the Dolphins. Had a long road back from a knee injury in college.

Guard Danny Watkins was cut by the Eagles. I'd love to see us take a shot on him.
